The Savannah Children's Museum is located in Tricentennial Park, in the courtyard of the old Central Georgia Railway Carpentry Shop. It comprises the lower level of the old shop and the court yard, producing two zones of fun and play for the whole family to patricipate in. The estate is an acre and opening in two phases, the first phase being the outdoors play space.
Savannah Children's Museum makes use of a twisting and turning discovery maze and more than twelve interactive exhibitions for children and parents to discover together. Jungle gyms, slides and more provide an excellent way to drain youngsters of some energy. A sensory garden with many objects to touch, see, smell and hear will delight your child's senses and occupy them for hours. The Savannah Children's Museum has a reading nook completed with literature for all ages to be read with an adult or alone. Educators staff the Savannah Children's Museum and create fun, educational programming and workshops daily to keep children and families exploring and learning together.
If you are in Savannah visiting or just passing through and have little ones you should not pass up the vast chance to peruse the Savannah Children's Museum. Regardless of the intricacies of the earth that you are intrigued by, you and your loved ones will have a blast.
