Oatland Island Wildlife Center in Savannah, GA

This 'zoo' features a 2 mile 'Native Animal Nature Trail' that winds through habitats like forests, salt marshes, and freshwater wetlands. Visitors will see amazing creatures such as the Florida panther, the Eastern timber wolf, alligators, and many more. Within Oatland Island, are more than 150 indigenous Georgia animals representing 50 different species. There are bison, bears, raptors, neotropical birds, herons, hawks, raccoons, and otters.

Oatland Island is open to the public for self-guided trail walks Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m each and every day.
