Elvis Presley???s Graceland Experience

Historic Landmarks and Sites
This beautiful historic mansion was once along Millionaire's Row. Constructed in 1871, the home was left abandoned for many years up until 1962 when they were acquired and restored to their original beauty. The house, and the one adjacent to it, are now listed on the National Register of Historic Places and are part of the Victorian Village historic district.
Slave Haven / Burkle Estate
During the slave trade of the 1800s, the area was known as the largest slave-trading city in the state of Tennessee. Many slaves were looking for their way to freedom and were helped by anti-slavery abolitionists along the way. The home is located near the Mississippi River banks which made it easily accessible for runaway slaves to escape to freedom in the North and the owner of the house, Jacob Burkle, was part of the anti-slavery movement, and helped many on their way to escape.
Located in Downtown, Beale Street is a significant street in the city as it holds a rich history to the area. Through the 1920s, it was home to nightclubs, theaters, restaurants, stores, and more and was a booming busy street through the evenings with wonderful blues music on the rise, filling the area with all the great local talent. The historic street is still known for bars, nightclubs, and live music and still has a busy and lively nightlife as you celebrate this historical area.
This 96-acre Botanic Garden is opened to the public for lovely strolls through the manicured gardens and grounds. It features lovely bridges, sculptures, fountains, and a lush variety of plants, flowers, and trees to see.
Home to over 3,500 animals, the Zoo has been located in Overton Park for over a 100 years. Here, you can see a mass variety of amazing animals, marine life, and reptiles located from all over the world. Animals include elephants, tigers, lions, pandas, fish, bears, frogs, monkeys, penguins, and so many more for a wonderful place to spend time with friends and family.
Art & Museums
The Civil Rights Museum is located in downtown at the site of the former Lorraine Motel where Civil Rights activist Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated. Exhibits at the museum details the history of the Civil Rights movement from the days of slavery, up until the modern times of today.
Pink Palace Museum

Dedicated to music, the Rock ‘n??? Soul Museum displays exhibits telling the amazing story of local musicians and businesses that helped change the cultural world we live in during the time of the 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70s when there were many racial and social obstacles during this time. Here, you will see memorabilia, artifacts, and historical pieces displaying the fight these amazing people went through with the power of music.
