The parish began in 1947 on the 21st of June and was the home to Father Patrick Cunningham. Five years later, Msgr. Marion Reid led the direction of the community towards the construction of the St. Louis King of France School. Modesty started with a group of 40 students, the buildings and attendees grew to almost 1,500 students. Today, under the direction of Reverend Mark S. Raphael, Ph.D., the parish, divided into two, with the additional of the St. Angela Merici School.
