We had a great time. We took our children and grandchildren on this wonderful trip. First the motel where we stayed at (ramkota motel) was outstanding. The kids enjoyed the indoor water park as much as they enjoyed all the sights, ie. Mount rushmore, flintstone, thunder mountain, gold panning, train ride, crazy horse, the caverns etc. However the best day we had was our bus tour. We were picked up promptly and had a wonderful breakfast. Then our outstanding tour started. The tour bus guide was trisha and she was outstanding. She knew everything about each place she took us.

We were so pleased with the bus tour and our guide, bruce. He was an excellent driver and very informative. Custer state park, crazy horse, and mount rushmore were all parts of our trip we will never forget. In custer state park, we were detained by approximately 300 buffalo for about 15 minutes. They were amazing and we were thankful to be on the bus instead of a car!!

Taking the bus tour was our best decision we made during our stay in the black hills area. It was so nice that all of us were able to take in all of the beautiful scenery and not have to worry about roads and where we were. Our bus driver was amazing! What a wonderful time with informative bus driver. We saw a lot of the black hills. From crazy horse to mt. Rushmore with custer state park in between and the wildlife loop and encountering 100's of buffalo, and the iron mountain road and tunnels. This is a must do!

The stay got off to a rocky start. After checking in. I had difficulty getting my luggage into the building because the ramp was blocked by a motorcycle. When this was brought to the attention of the clerk. She told me there was a side entrance i could use. This would not have been so bad if it had not been raining heavily. Her attitude was one of indifference. I was able to roll the luggage cart over the curve upon the sidewalk. I will not be staying at this hotel in the future.

The tour hit all the highlights at the parks as advertised. Unfortunately there were very few places in route that the bus could pullover for pictures and overviews. Also maintenance was being done on the roadways which interrupted the normal route. Guide was wonderful and knowledgeable on the sights. The write-up in the pamphlet didn't explain that time was allotted for the train ride or goldmine tour and if you didn't do them there would be dead time to fill with shopping. We would have signed up for the train early on.

This tour was much more than i expected. We were given the opportunity to spend time at both mount rushmore and the crazy horse memorial. We were not rushed and were able to get good photos and enjoy each attraction. Trisha, our guide, was both personable and professional. She not only was informative of the attractions, but after picking us up at the hotel she pointed out features of rapid city and other areas while on our way to the attractions. The black hills train ride was a plus.

This was a fun tour and a great way to see the black hills, mt. Rushmore, crazy horse and custer state park. We had fun with the hour delay with the heard of bison on the road. Bruce, our drive/guide was knowledgeable and did not over talk on the tour with lots of corny jokes. He as informative and got us where we needed to go on time. Great tour. Our tour time actually went about 11 hours with the animal delays. Using vacations made easy was indeed easy. We were on the drivers manifest and there was no hassles. I'd use vacations mad easy again in a minute.

My daughter and 6 year old grand daughter and i took the all day bus tour (gray lines black hills) and loved every minute. Our driver jerry was knowledgeable and told us many facts about mt rushmore, the crazy horse memorial, the strato bowl, the iron mountain road, and the train from keystone to hill city. If you have a short amount of time this tour is great. They pick you up at your hotel, the driver was funny and had interesting with information that you would not get going by your self. Breakfast was included and pretty good also. I would have like to see more than 1 buffalo at custer national park but that is the luck of the draw. This tour saves you the driving. But make sure you take a helicopter ride also.

Tour was the perfect way to spend an intense day in the area. We only had one day and we feel we were immersed in the south dakota culture. Tour guide was polite and informative. I wasn't even all that interested in this visit but now i would return for more of the area. Loved the tour.

A must for any trip. I think going on this trip the first day really was the best thing for us. We were able to see where everything was so we could plan other things we wanted to do. They gave us ample time to see everything before going to the next sight. Drivers were very informative.

Would go again in a minute! Roger, our bus driver, was outstanding & knew the area well! I use a walker and he loaded & unloaded it for me whenever i wanted to use it! Not having to drive & having the area attractions pointed out made our trip so much more enjoyable!! Didn't want the trip to end!

Mount rushmore was breath taking. When we first got there i got emotional it was that beautiful. Me and my family will be going back. Crazy horse was beautiful too. South dakota was just beautiful

The grey line bus picked us up at our hotel and took us to mount rushmore tour. The bus took us back to our hotel, also. This was the best.
