International Culinary Institute of HGTC in Myrtle Beach, SC

Located on Horry Georgetown Technical College's Grand Strand campus in the scenic Market Common section of Myrtle Beach, the International Culinary Institute of HGTC is a modern and attractive facility.

Among the programs that are offered at the International Culinary Institute of HGTC are cake decorating, kitchen and food preparation techniques, professional cooking, baking and pastry arts and culinary arts technology. The facility contains two teaching kitchens, a teaching dining room, an outdoor BBQ area, two baking labs, a demonstration kitchen and a production kitchen.

Fortunately for local residents and visitors to Myrtle Beach, the International Culinary Institute of HGTC operates both an on-site dining room and a bakery that are open to the public. The Fowler Dining Room is open for lunch and dinner twice a week, and the Layers Bakery is open to the public Monday through Thursday. At the bakery, hungry customers can dine on sandwiches, soups and salads, and also purchase fresh and tasty breads, cookies, cakes and pastries.

Tours of the Grand Strand campus are available on Tuesdays and Fridays at 10:00 a.m., and registration for the tours must be done the day prior to the tour.
