Hopsewee Plantation in Georgetown, SC

Hopsewee Plantation is still a privately owned and inhabited residence and a typical dwelling of the eighteenth century, and has only been owned by five people. The house was originally owned by Thomas Lynch, a signer of the Declaration of Independence.  Tours are available for you to view the intricate furnishings in the house.
