The Landis Valley Museum interprets the history and culture of the German rural community of Pennsylvania from 1740 to 1940 and portrays the lifestyle and era in a living history with a real live interactive farm life portrayal.

Visitors can experience over a hundred acres of 18th and 19th history farm life in Lancaster County. Several workshops are available for you and your family's entertainment such as Tavern Cooking where children create three different Pennsylvania German soups. A buttermilk biscuit and dessert is included for ages 8-17.

Warm and Wooly Beginners Knitting will teach children how to knit their own scarf. Birds and Seed will guide children in making their own birdhouses and plan a garden.
