  2. Stops at: Spearfish Falls
    Spearfish Falls is one of the top three waterfalls in Spearfish Canyon. During winter, when it becomes frozen, it's as if time has stopped for us to enjoy the beauty.

  3. Stops at: Bridal Veil Falls
    People seek Bridal Veil Falls, located in Spearfish Canyon Scenic Byway, is widely recognized as one of the most sought-after destinations. The waterfall is an awe-inspiring sight as it plummets down a 60-foot natural stone staircase. Visitors can hike the brief trail leading to the base of the falls and experience the refreshing mist on their faces.

  4. Stops at: Custer State Park
    Custer State spark is one of the most visited places in the Black Hills. Wildlife Loop Road reveals the American Bison, Pronghorn Sheep, Bighorn Sheep, Foxes, Coyotes, Bobcats, Prairie Dogs and Mountain Goats!

    Needles Highway is generally open to drive until we reach Sylvan Lake, the most stunning in the Black Hills.

    Sylvan Lake may be one of the smallest in the region, but it's the most photographed. You'll see why and witness the 16-inch thick ice that makes it right up to the other-worldly rock formations.

  8. Stops at: Roughlock Falls State Nature Area
    Roughlock Falls is the number one waterfall in Spearfish Canyon, with multiple viewpoints along the path. Two waterfalls make up this majestic natural wonder.
