The first leg of the journey will take you along Iron Mountain Road, one of the most scenic roadways in the country. Enjoy 17 miles of beautiful Black Hills scenery before making your way to Mount Rushmore National Memorial. At Mt Rushmore, you will be guided through the memorial and treated to an interesting historic overview of its history. You will spend about an hour at Mt. Rushmore before heading off to Sylvan Lake where you can marvel at its beauty. Then, head through Needle Eye Tunnel and past Stockade Lake and along 18 miles of beauty along Wildlife Loop Road.
