The person leading the tour was only 5 days on the job. She was entertaining and knowledgeable about what she was doing. The panning part of it was fun. I have to take my kids next time.

This was part of the mount rushore tour but that wasn't made clear until we were about to stop at the mine. So, we had vouchers for the tour scheduled for a different day. Of course, we got to see the mine anyway but the time was short and we ended up with a free day because of not needing to go back for this tour.

This was okay! I thought we would explore the mine more in-depth, but you only get to go about 100 feet into the mine and that's it. The tour guide was nice and very knowledgeable. I wouldn't pay extra for this, but if it's part of another tour, then it's worth it.
