My wife and i spent the whole day together there and had an amazing time. We did the holy land tour, went through the gift shops and then saw the play. We also seen a few pre play shows that were awesome. Would love to go back and bring grand kids sometime. Very educational.

We really enjoyed our trip to the passion play. It way exceeded our expectations and everything thing we did there was a good experience. The holy land tour was great all but it being really hot outside!! The pre- shows we’re really neat. My youngest loved the petting zoo and the bible museum was great. We didn't’t have time to see the art museum but enjoyed seeing christ of the ozarks lit up at night. My kids ranging from age 16-age 8 said they would all love to watch the play again!!

This is my 7th time to see the passion play. I was a little disappointed as they have changed the crucifixion scene. It is not as realistic as it used to be, which really brought the seriousness of this act to the front. Also when he descended into heaven, it was very dark and all of a sudden he was lifting into heaven. It was a light scene this time. It was a very good play though and i would see it the 8th time.

The stage was amazing!! We were super impressed with the stage and there really were no bad seats in the entire place. The only downside was the pre-recorded voices and the super fast speed of the play. It made it seem overly dramatic with bad acting. Otherwise, the stage, pyrotechnics, lights, sounds, animals, etc. Were all amazing! I just think it has much better potential with real voices or better voice actors.

Enjoyed the passion play very much. We went early since it was open seating and were able to sit on the front row. Before the show there was a sculptor and a singer who entertained the audience. There are several other things to do on the grounds as well. The play itself was excellent.

Following the last days of christ's life on earth through this wonderful enactment was very moving. This passion play does an amazing job! The museum, art gallery, tours, and of course, christ of the ozarks, are a wonderful way to spend your day leading up to a buffet dinner and play. Well worth the money!!!

Very good production. The gestures were a little bit over dramatic but was probably necessary for seats further back. The back stage tour at 3:30 is an absolute must! It was fantastic.

Tip: Do the back stage tour st 3:30 led by one of the cast members.

I have been to several outdoor productions. This is by far the best well produced i have ever seen. Mostly what i liked is that it remained true to biblical scripture. It made the scriptures come to life. I also very much enjoyed the holy land tour, especially as it all tied into scripture, jesus and the cross.

"Loved the Passion Play!"

Loved the passion play! Even my teenaged nephew got into it. The audio was great, with words being clear even in that large open area. The script was scriptural and verses and scenarios of christ's ministry, miracles, and last days were brought together in a way that was both easy to follow and a powerful picture of christ's nature and how all the major players interacted. The lighting and staging was perfect, with stage changes being carried out seamlessly and almost imperceptibly. And the multi-level stages, height and breadth of the stage area was so well designed as to allow for creation of a whole town full of characters from all stations of life, even regional animals. The program was both entertaining and touching. I would recommend it to anyone!

Tip: The stadium is quite large and deep. We found that if you choose seat in the nosebleed section, the sound is not so loud, but still good, and you have a shorter distance to climb when leaving. The volume was a bit loud in the lower seats closer to the stage, but the view was great.

The petting zoo, bible museum, christ of the ozarks and the pre-shows were such a great added feature that you didn't’t have to pay extra for . The number one highline of our trip. Because of a problem of getting on and off bus we were assigned to a golf cart every event we attended we were taken by golf cart.. We had heard great things about the play but unless you have attended it yourself you could not appreciate how special it was.

The great passion play was excellent and the new holy land exhibit was memorable, but the buffet left something to be desired. We enjoyed the bible museum but the lights were out when we went to christ of the ozarks so we missed the beautiful statue. It was a very emotional 2 hours. If you are a christian you should try to see it. I went with my church group a few years back. My husband and i are trying to make plans now to take our children to it. Everyone should see thegreat passion play at least once in their lifetimes.
