Choosing a hotel or inn for your trip is one of the most important aspects of the entire deal! Luckily, Eureka Springs has plenty of amazing places to stay so you won't have to worry about making a bad choice. What you will have to worry about is choosing between all of the awesome places. Below is a list of some of the most popular options for your next getaway.
1886 Crescent Hotel and Spa
Even if you do not stay in the Crescent, visiting is a must. Situated high above the city, this beautiful hotel is an icon for the area. The hotel is a member of Historic Hotels of America and the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Known as America's 'most haunted hotel', it has been featured on many television shows and documentaries. You can take a nightly ghost tour to learn all about the guests who have never left. Along with the ghost tour, it features seventy-two rooms, a hot tub, an outdoor swimming pool, a salon, a dining room, and a cafe. There are also fifteen acres to explore on the property when you are finished exploring inside.

The history of the Crescent runs deep. Built in 1886 as a luxury resort for the wealthy, it quickly failed and became unusable. In 1908, it was reopened as the Crescent College and Conservatory for Young Women. This was also short-lived, closing down in 1924 but was once again reopened in 1930 as a junior college. This once again failed, closing in 1934. After closing, it was a hotel once more until 1937 when Norman G. Baker turned it into a health resort and hospital. Baker was a millionaire who was run out of Iowa for practicing medicine without a license. In Arkansas, he claimed that he had the cure for cancer and other ailments, primarily claiming that the spring water could cure anything. After years of fraud and countless deaths, Baker was eventually arrested (on an account of mail fraud). The hotel saw a few other owners after that and was almost burned to the ground in a fire. The hotel has had the same owner since 1997.

Basin Park Hotel
The building of the hotel began in 1904 and the grand opening was June 1, 1905. The Basin Park was very modern for its time with 100 rooms, an elevator, electricity, heat, running water, and phones in the rooms. There was a garden on the top floor along with the elegant ballroom which still remains today. It was constructed of limestone, like many other buildings in the area. During the prohibition, illegal booze and gambling ran rampant throughout the Ozarks. The hotel was busted for this and eventually sold because of a lack of funds. It has since been restored and reopened, and still a focal point in the community. It features Spa 1905, and outdoor swimming pool, the Barefoot Ballroom and other meeting rooms, the Balcony Bar & Restaurant, Lucky 7 Billiards and Bar, and its own ghost tour: Spirits of the Basin.

Red Bud Manor
This beautifully restored inn was built in 1891 by Franciska Massman, one of Eureka's most famous and historical women. A rich history and beautiful landscape surround you at this home. It features private outdoor entrances, off-street parking, gourmet breakfast, and free WiFi. It is also pet-friendly! Choose this cozy inn to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Each guest room has a private bath with plush towels, robes, and bath products. Your room will have a flat-screen TV with cable, a coffeemaker, and free bottled water. This would be a perfect and secluded retreat for a romantic honeymoon. What more could you ask for?

Heart of the Hills Inn
This bed & breakfast is perfect for anyone seeking fun and relaxation on their vacation. It is located just a few blocks from downtown, so you will be within walking distance from all of the awesome activities that take place downtown. While cozy and low-key, Heart of the Hills certainly does not lack any of the desired amenities. Each suite has its own private entrance and an individually controlled thermostat. Wireless internet, flat-screen televisions, and Jacuzzi tubs fulfill your needs for convenience and comfort. This inn would be an awesome romantic getaway option.
