The Evening History Tour is the only evening tour that IS NOT A GHOST TOUR. We focus on the history of the people and places of this most historic city. Take a tour in the evening to beat the heat of the day. Go before or after dinner at one of our fine restaurants.
Itinerary
  1. Stops at: Pineapple Fountain
    The Pineapple is a symbol of hospitality and welcome. right next to it is the monument to Robert Smalls. Hear the story of the bravest escape by an enslaved African American during the Civil War
    Duration: 15 minutes
  2. Stops at: Rainbow Row
    The most famous landmark in the city of Charleston. Built between the 1740s and 1750s, this row can be found on everything from needlepoint designs to shot glasses
    Duration: 10 minutes
  3. Stops at: Fort Sumter National Monument
    The Charleston Harbor has so much history to speak of, from the battle of Ft. Sullivan during the American Revolution, to the first shots of the Civil War at Ft. Sumter and the Massachusetts 54th Battle of Battery Wagner.
    Duration: 15 minutes
  4. Stops at: Old Exchange & Provost Dungeon
    One of the three most historic colonial American structures, The Exchange, Customs House, and Prevost Dungeon holds the stories from presidents to pirates.
    Duration: 10 minutes
  5. Stops at: St. Michael's Church
    Visit the Four Corners of Law, named by Robert Ripley of Ripley's Believe it or Not. God, Local State, and Federal Law are all represented here
