Santa Fe History is a museum and historical site that offers guided walking tours of Santa Fe's historic district. These tours are FREE and start at the information kiosk on the plaza. These tours have a total walking distance of about 1.5 miles, which is about 45 minutes for an average walker. The time is accessible to wheelchairs and strollers, and we have some tools available for those needing assistance hearing or seeing our materials during the Tour (please let us know in advance). The Tour gives an overview of Santa Fe's Hispanic and Indigenous history. The Tour covers the Santa Fe Plaza, the historic buildings, and their relationship. The Tour also covers the Old Plaza (the plaza before its recent renovation), the Water Walk, and Los Pobladores Historic District.
