Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park in Destin, FL

  The park is located right on the beach, for the most realistic experience. 

There are a variety of activities happening here including sea life shows, dolphin therapy, dolphin encounters, and exhibits throughout to educate people about the animals within the water. Popular exhibits include the Dolphin Show, the Sea Lion Show, and the Dolphin Demonstration.  Also, throughout the park, guests are able to feed the otters and explore the penguins. 

All of the shows have covered seating to provide shade from the sun.  In some of the shows, guests are able to stand near to the tanks so that they can experience the animals up close.  Some even spray water into the crowd.  There is one indoor, air conditioned building located here called the Living Sea which is an exploration of the various fish within the oceans.

Plan to spend from three to five hours at the Gulfarium as it offers many options in activities.  There is a gift shop located within the park.  Guests are able to take photos, though most of the tanks contain sea water, which may damage photo equipment.  There are also several locations for food throughout the park including cold drinks, hot dogs and burgers. 

Group discounts are available.  Also, guests can book their birthday party or other private events by contacting customer service.  The hours of operation are seasonally based.
