We had a fun tour with Kathleen! It was very cool how at different stops along the tour a character would board the bus (in full costume) and give a narrative about their experience (before they died??) No experience is required so your skill level does not matter. Training is provided, so whether you have ridden a segway before or are a beginning rider, you can ensure that you'll be safe on the vehicle. Helmets are also given to guests to wear.

There are several 'glide' options available, so you can fit in a ride on any vacation. Regardless of which tour you will embark upon, guests will meet at 234 Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard.. Just a few of the things you may see on one of the tours include the many historical squares in the city, one of the cemeteries, and many of the colorful gardens.

Guests should prepare accordingly, wear comfortable shoes, and dress for the weather. Riders must be at least 16 years old to operate the vehicle and must weigh between 100 to 260 lbs to be within safety regulations for segway riding.

We had a wonderful time with chris on our segway tour of the historical squares in savannah. The weather was perfect and due to the time of our tour, we ended up being the only two people on our tour. Chris was extremely knowledgeable about the history of savannah, being both a history major and a native savannah citizen (so win win for us!). The segway was relatively easy to maneuver and we were able to take a quick break whenever needed. The instruction was clear and the oversight and guidance helpful! We really, really enjoyed it! We will do another segway tour for sure!

Tip: Consider booking early in the day during the week and you might find a smaller group - which we really liked!
