Santa Fe Bar Hunt: Santa Fe-Eeling Good Photos (1)

Are you looking for the perfect spot to celebrate New Year's Eve? Looking for a bar that embodies Santa Fe's stylish and laid-back lifestyle? Then the Santa Fe Bar Hunt is just the list you are looking for. The search function allows you to specify your preferences regarding outdoor space, indoor space, availability of food, features (tableside service with friendly bartenders or DJs), etc. It even offers a map indicating what bars lie within walking distance of each other so you can make your way around town in style.

This list was created using several sources: the Yelp database, recommendations from friends and co-workers, and an old issue of "The New Mexican" listing the best bars in Santa Fe. The mission of this hunt is to discover the best bars Santa Fe has to offer. This hunt is sponsored by the City of Santa Fe, local hotels and restaurants featured on this list, and the Santa Fe Reporter.

It is a classic Mexican-inspired bar with a good selection of tequilas on its drink menu. For $5, you can order a shot of agave nectar and sugarcane mescal while you watch the Tejano band playing inside. The outdoor patio area is decorated with twinkling white lights, river rock columns, and red umbrellas, providing the perfect setting for sipping margaritas. It is one of my favorite bars in Santa Fe because it's the perfect mix of class and casual.
