The Mardi Gras School of Cooking does small, intimate hands-on classes in the French Quarter. Classes are more like a dinner party with friends. Feel welcomed into our kitchens by the Chefs themselves. From the moment you arrive until you roll out the door our Chefs are friendly, personable and entertaining. Not to mention their culinary skills are impecable. Our minimum class size is 2 people. A solo traveler may join an already scheduled class. Call us to hear about the available classes.
Itinerary
Come in to The Mardi Gras School of Cooking and relax, get acquainted with your classmates and begin your hands-on cooking experience. Enjoy creating the New Orleans Traditions menu when you don your aprons and begin learning new recipes, cooking great dishes and then enjoying the fruits of your labor. Each student is taught professional techniques, the secrets of seasonings, and the preparation of recipes while learning the history of Louisiana's world-famous cuisine.
