About the Oak Ridge Boys
The Oak Ridge Boys were formed in the 1940s as the Oak Ridge Quartet and were popular in southern gospel music until the early 1960s, when they changed their name to the Oak Ridge Boys and stayed in the southern gospel style of music until the mid-70s. They then adjusted their look and musical approach to that of a country band. In addition, the Oak Ridge Boys were inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

The trio has been generating great country music since 1973 and is noted for its four-part harmonies and exquisite lyrics.
