While you're on the Mississippi River, you'll see some of the most beautiful and historic sites, and get more information on the river itself. This is the site of famous Mark Twain works like Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn. You'll also take in all the activity of the second largest port in America. This activity is great if you're traveling to New Orleans with friends and want to go sightseeing, are celebrating an anniversary or birthday or organizing a class reunion.

The tour allows you to see the Crescent City skyline, which is ever-changing. The Steamboat Natchez is climate-controlled for your comfort, or you can soak up the sun on the deck as you sail. You'll sail past the Chalmette Battlefield, which is the place where Jean Lafitte and his buccaneers came together with Andrew Jackson to defend the area from the British in the Battle of New Orleans.

Departure time for this tour is 11:30am, and you have the option to add lunch to the tour as well. You can also book the tour for 2:30pm, with or without the lunch option. There's a delicious buffet filled with many of the foods that are specific to the region, as well as a beverage menu to make the cruise even more enjoyable.
