About the Tour

This exciting private farm tour allows guests to head to a real Amish farm. Once there, the Amish guides will tell you about the property's history and give insight into what it was like to live during different periods in time. The Amish pleasantries include a dairy farm tour, an ice cream parlor, shops, a garden and an orchard. Guests will take a tour through Amish country, stop at an Amish creamery, visit Amish shops, and more. The entire tour lasts approximately 3 hours.

Visit the Farm

Located in Strasburg, this historic farm is an interesting place to visit. Having been the location for the filming of the Academy Award-winning movie, 'Witness', this farm is not only historic but also has interesting influence in the movie industry. Guests will be able to tour the farm and see all of its facilities. Interact with animals and meet the Amish family that runs and lives on the farm. Guests will also view a beautiful Amish home and see Amish craft-making up close at the artisan stable and barn. You'll even have the opportunity to purchase an Amish-made birdhouse should you wish to.

Dairy Farm Tour

Guests will also be able to tour an Amish dairy farm. Spend 20 minutes touring the facilities which date back to the 1830s. Learn all about the care of the cows, the milking process, and all of the dairy products that the farm makes. This is a cool way to learn about where your food comes from while enjoying a glimpse back into the past. You'll get to see some cows, too!

Driving Tour Through Amish Country

View the beauty of the Amish countryside on a driving tour through Lancaster County. Along the way, you will learn all about the history of the area and the Amish people that call it home. Explore history, culture, religion, and more. You will also see centuries-old buildings, 19th-century mills, bridges, and more. The tour takes you to Strasburg.

Stop in Strasburg

Once you arrive in Strasburg, you will stop at an Amish-owned and operated ice cream parlor. This creamery offers up old-fashioned ice cream which you will be able to enjoy while marveling at the countryside views. This stop lasts approximately 15 minutes.

Stop in Ronks

(20 minutes)
Then, it's off to Ronks, PA! Here, guests will be able to get out and explore a local Amish-owned store. Explore various natural goods with plenty of wares. From homemade bread to flour and old-fashioned candies, there are plenty of products to survey. Guests will be able to purchase whatever they wish from the store, so be sure to sample everything from homemade lotions to delicious snacks.
