About Oak Ridge Boys Branson MO
The group was founded as the Oak Ridge Quartet in the 40s and became with southern gospel in the 50s. In the early 60s, they changed their name to the Oak Ridge Boys and continued in southern gospel until the mid-70s when they changed their image and music to the style of country music. The Oak Ridge Boys were presented their induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
Since making a name for themselves within the country music scene, the Oak Ridge Boys have also entered the pop culture world.
