About the Ghosts and Gravestones Savannah Tour

This 75-minute Ghosts and Gravestones Tour will take you through the historic district of America's Most Haunted City of Savannah! Listen to the bone-chilling stories of the hauntings that have occurred in the historic district's ancient cemeteries, antebellum mansions, and former battlegrounds that have hosted some of the bloodiest tragedies of the past. Your theatrical ghost host will guide you past many notable locations, including the Colonial Park Cemetery, the Sorrel-Weed House, the Davenport House, and more! In addition to the information you'll learn about these many haunted places, you will also have the opportunity to explore the inside of Perkins & Sons Ship Chandlery on River Street and the Andrew Low House, two exclusive nighttime stops.

 Pass By
Andrew Low House
Experience a blend of history and architectural feat at the Andrew Low House in Savannah, GA. Tour the beautifully preserved 19th-century home, boasting a collection of period furnishings and lovely landscaped gardens. Delve deep into the fascinating Low-Gordon family history to add an enriching twist to your Savannah trip.
 Stop at
Perkins & Sons Ship Chandlery
At the Perkins & Sons Ship Chandlery, you will enjoy a 20-minute performance with special effects about how the antiquated building gained its reputation. Located on River Street, this building will draw you in as you follow your guide inside what was once the bustling port business. A paranormal presence will bombard you upon entering, and dark tales will creep from the shadows on the walls as you learn of the family's sinister past.
 Pass By
Colonial Park Cemetery
Established in 1750, the Colonial Park Cemetery functions as an anchor location for Savannah's early haunted history, and it is also where the infamous Jesse Greathouse video was filmed in 2008, which has become one of the most compelling and controversial pieces of evidence for life after death currently available.
 Pass By
Sorrel-Weed House
Built in 1838, the Sorrel-Weed House has a reputation for being one of the most haunted buildings in Savannah. People claim to see figures in the windows and hear disembodied voices inside the house. The connecting carriage house behind the main house was said to have housed a female African-American slave who was murdered by a member of the family.
 Pass By
Davenport House
Built to be a private residence by Isaiah Davenport, the Davenport House is now a house museum and is home to several different ghost stories, including the most famous story surrounding a cat. While there is no cat living in the Davenport House, many visitors have reported seeing a cat run from room to room or sit in the window sill and watching the people walk by outside.
 Pass By
Owens-Thomas House
Now a house museum, the Owens-Thomas House was built in 1819, and according to several accounts, a ghostly figure of a man has been haunting the building since the upper floors were being used as apartments. Even now, the staff occasionally hears the sounds of footsteps, noises that they assume originate with straggling members of their tour group, only to find that there are nothing but empty rooms.
 Pass By
The Pirates' House
The Pirates' House, constructed in 1794, was originally a bar and boarding house for sailors. Reportedly, the basement was used to shanghai unwary (and unconscious) men through a secret tunnel which led to the Savannah River. These men were forced into seafaring service against their will.

With all the fantastic sights available to you, this trip will be unlike any that you've experienced before, providing you with the spooky information to make this chilling evening truly memorable. Enjoy many other creepy and thrilling things to do and enjoy a Savannah getaway.
