The team is comprised of the talented Lavata'i brothers who were born and raised on Tutuila in Samoa. The art that they practice is called Ailao Afi and they trained with the person who invented the practice, Chief Olo Uluao Misilagi Letuli as well as his daughter Malie Letuli. They were the last group to be trained by this figure. The brothers have also won first place champions at the World Fireknife Championships in Hawaii. The brothers' names are Malakai, Seanoa, and Tulei. They are joined by other dancers as well, Rocco Tinitali, Thomas Pua, Christian Tolentino, and Marcel Desir, all of which are extremely talented and practiced in fire knife dance.
