The best time to visit is during the peak of the fall harvest in September. The weather is beautiful this time of year with average temperatures in the 70s. Next on the tour would be the historic Boeger Winery, which was established in the gold rush of 1850. The original homestead and cellar are still in use today. The wine is available to sample. The last stop is at the Jodar Vineyards and Winery, home of wine that wins awards.
