Shepherd's Chuckwagon Dinner Show

Combining the homestead's rich history with mouthwatering food creates the perfect opportunity for fun and entertainment in the Ozarks! 

This family-friendly experience takes visitors all the way back to the Old West! With fantastic tunes to tap along to and a live band, you'll enjoy a concert unlike any other. You'll also be treated to poems and historic tales involving cowboys and their impact on the history of the US. The show stars the talented performing troupe, Riders of Circle B, who make it their job to bring the best pickin' and singin' in the region! 

About the Riders of Circle B

Riders of Circle B is comprised of the Horn family, a tight-knit clan of musicians who have each cultivated a passion for performing and music! Michele and Michael Horn began Circle B Ranch, where they did all the hard work of horse keeping, cooking homemade biscuits, and began putting on shows for visitors to the ranch. This was so successful that their cowboy harmonies and intricate stories led them to Branson, MO in the 2000s.

The current lineup features dad Michael (guitar) and children Kemp (harmonicas) and Christy (acoustic bass). It also features mandolist and performer Samuel Clanton who was brought up singing gospel songs in Alabama! This group and its tight-knit comraderie and masterful harmonies is sure to delight! 

About the Chuck Wagon Dinner

The Chuck Wagon Dinner is perhaps the crowning jewel of your experience. Enjoy a real cowboy-style meal featuring tender and juicy beef brisket and smoked pulled pork, barbecue beans, hot roastin' ear of corn with butter, Dutch oven potatoes with gravy, and a fluffy sourdough roll. The dinner is topped off by a Dutch oven campfire cobbler! Guests will get their choice of water, iced tea or coffee to pair with their meal. With so many flavorful foods, you'll leave satisfied! 

About the Shepherd of the Hills Historic Homestead

This homestead is perhaps the most historic place in the Ozarks. The famous book Shepherd of the Hills by Harold Bell Wright, was written about this area and the people that called it home. Visitors to the homestead can explore the original building that was home to the book's main characters. Old Matt's Cabin is in its original location and is also proudly a part of the National Historic Registry.
