The Titanic was one of the most infamous tragedies in American history, and you can discover the tragedy at this museum. During your next vacation to Orlando, FL, be sure to take a trip to the Titanic Artifact Exhibition to learn all about the Titanic through interactive exhibits and plenty of fascinating pieces of history.

About the Tour

When you enter the Titanic Museum, you will be introduced to an event so tragic that it is still spoken of today. The Titanic was a historic ship that hit an iceberg and sank, and its tragedy was so historic that it sparked a critically-acclaimed movie. However, these real events are far from just a Hollywood story. When you enter the museum, you will be able to explore exhibitions and displays dedicated to providing the most fascinating and accurate information about the events. Learn how they unfolded and the stories of those who were on the ship that night through these informative displays.

About the Museum

When you step inside, you will be given a replica boarding pass. This boarding pass has the name and information of a passenger that was on the boat that night in April of 1912. Once you are given your boarding pass, you will assume the role of that passenger and follow along with the chronological displays to re-live the events for yourself. There are more than 300 different artifacts that were pulled from the Titanic shipwreck site, and guests will be able to see everything from articles of clothing to jewelry to pieces of the ship itself. There are also full-size room recreations dedicated to offering the most in-depth look of what the Titanic looked like. Explore places like the Grand Staircase, the First Class Parlor Suite, and the Verandah Cafe. You can also feel the temperature of the air of that night on the Promenade Deck and touch an iceberg that is frozen at the same temperature as the iceberg that sank the ship. You can also see the largest part of the Titanic that was ever recovered, 'Little Big Piece', which is a section of the ships actual hull.

At the end of the tour, you will learn whether the passenger depicted on your boarding pass was able to survive the events or not, adding an intriguing aspect to your exploration of the Titanic. With so many fascinating artifacts to see and a historic event to uncover, a visit to the Titanic Artifact Exhibit is certain to be an interesting addition to your Orlando getaway.
