This was an amazing event to go to. The food was delicious and the show was absolutely out of this world. I definitely suggest sitting through the entire show before roaming the boat since you have plenty of time after the show's done. The singers are very polite and let you take pictures with them at the end and then they have an amazing second show up on the top of the boat afterwards that is comical and fun. Definitely recommend doing this.

The show was fabulous. The service was amazing. And the food was ok. Not sure what i was expecting, but i didn't’t leave hungry. It was a bit crowded in the dining room so my advice is to go to the restroom and get your drinks before you get seated. The servers will get your drinks for you if you’d like. The stage was small but the cast used it well. Not boring at all.

The general jackson cruise at christmas has been a family tradition for the last several years. We are hoping to be there again this year. I love to see the glow on my daughter's face when we board the boat. We have never left the boat without the christmas love and full bellies from the show. The food is always wonderful and my two grandsons are always ready to eat. Would recommend this experience to all and hope that it will become your family tradition.

This was the best by far. We were seated at table #2 which was right by the corner of the stage. We got to see the entire show without anyone being in front of us and it was great. The entertainment was great and the dinner was fantastic. This was a special trip for my nephew who has been in a wheel chair since birth. He is now 42 years old and this was his first visit to tennessee. I wanted to do something special for him while we were there since his parents gave him the trip as a christmas present. I could not have asked for a better time nor could he. It was a surprise up until 10 minutes before we pulled into the parking lot. He had no clue what we were doing. So from the mongeau and labare family, thank you for making that day special for him.

This was a most delightful experience. The location, the staff, the crew, and the entertainment was fantastic. Highly recommend this to any and everyone.

The food was great and you had great entertainment during your meal and outside on the deck. After all the hustle and bustle of nashville, it was so relaxing just to sit back and have some peaceful time floating down the river. My husband loved it.

Food was good, service very good, the show was great, suggestions get rid of the diamond rio songs add some ccr and finish the show with a patriotic tune like lee greenwood god bless the usa.

This was an absolute blast the staff was great the music was great and the food was great. I highly recommend this as a top 5 of the must do in nashville list.

Had a most enjoyable experience on our evening dinner cruise. Was my wifes bday vacation and she truly enjoyed it. All services were 5 star and the stage show was very impressive. Professional.

The dinner cruise was awesome from the point of entering the ship, the gift store, the meal, the deck entertainment, the live stage performance was flawless. The entire staff from the captain, servers, and bar tenders were prepared, organized, and professional ensuring the purpose and mission of the trip was successful.

The steamboats was a nice slow paced speed to enjoy the good weather we had on the day of our trip. The entrainment was a show stopper, so enjoyable and fun.

Lunch was delicious and plentiful. The entertainment was awesome. The staff pleasant and attentive and the view of the skyline something to behold.

It was such an enjoyable evening on the general jackson. Two things really stood out to me while we were on the boat:1. The food was excellenthonestly some of the bestand the price was very reasonable, especially with the boat ride included.2. The service was outstanding. The riverboat cruise and dinner show was fantastic everything was top-notch, from the staff to the food we bought sweatshirts from the gift shop and a very reasonable price we were so glad to have bought them, as it was a bit chilly that evening. The food was really amazing, and i did see that many people were going back for additional servings. Great trip and great show

Doesnt get any better then sitting on a paddle wheel showboat drinking beer and motoring down the cumberland river. We did the dinner cruise and the show that they put on, after the great dinner, was really good seeing the big city lights of nashville will be unforgettable.

I took 9 people that had never been on a paddle wheel boat cruise before. They all liked it very much. I would have to say the only thing that was not 5 start was the brisket for dinner. It was dry and seemed like it was sitting under a lamp for a long time. Otherwise, we walked the decks, listened to a great show and thoroughly enjoyed the cruise. I would recommend to anyone a must do in nashville.

Well organized cruise down the cumberland with a turnaround at broadway. Music on the top level and a very good review of country music after lunch with a terrific fiddler kayla rose. The bar was not very efficient, but the drink was good. Buffet lunch was nice.

This was the highlight of my trip. I enjoyed everything about this experience. I just wish it would have been a little longer.

A memory to last a life time. Danced on upper deck to a great band and got others to join in.We went below deck for a fabulous lunch and enjoyed a musical telling of country music

We did a family easter cruise and we all loved it. From the entertainment once we stepped on board to the great buffet, the nashville sites right on through the showboat entertainment show, everything was first class.

I love it. I went solo, so i didnt know what to expectfrom the beginning to the end, i was in the presence of new people i had met. Everyone seems to be having a nice time. The shows of singing and dancing, up on top, of the cruise, great performance. Also the wax theater is amazing 5 stars showboat. I will be back. Amen

Great show it was actually much better than i expected. I thought it would be very cheesy. The only thing a little cheesy was the mc. He was a really good singer however, he over did the hey, welcome to the show stuff with a fake carnival voice and he sang the merle haggard song in sort of an elvis-vegas way.Again, the show was excellent. The cast of singers and musicians were top notch. They must be in great shape too because the ran around and did dance moves the whole show while singing. They also made several quick costume changes. Awesome

We had an absolutely fantastic time on the general jackson. The food was fabulous and the entertainment was wonderful. I hope that someday we can return. We went on an evening tour and it was worth every cent.

We celebrated our 30th anniversary on this cruise. It was a gift from our kids which we thoroughly enjoyed. Awesome entertainment good food and great nightie views of the nashville buildings at night. A definite highlight of our trip.

The dinner was good the show was great the only bad part about the whole thing was the bathroom doors would not lock when you went in

I reserved my spot the day before and got the last available ticket. They offer both lunch and dinner show options.The nighttime views were stunning, the food was delicious, and the show was top-notchwell-produced and filled with a nostalgic journey through the eras of country music. Overall, i thoroughly enjoyed it, and everything was fantastic.

We enjoyed the christmas show everyone did a great job. The weather did not cooperate, but we still had a great time.

As much as this cost we surprised at how much a soda cost. I would think that soda should be included in the cost of dinner. The tables were just too packed with people that it was difficult to navigate the food as well as get up from the table just to use the restroom. The people in the show were very talented and entertaining, but were difficult to watch with many of the chairs needing to be turned around and not enough room to do that.

Nice overall experience. They serve buffet dinner while boat makes it way to downtown area around 8 pm dark in nov which is nice. Guests then spend time on deck before going back into ballroom for desert and musical show.

The show had lots of energy and enthusiasm we did enjoyed very much. The meal however, not so much. The beef that was serve was a bit undercooked and must of the people on our table had to set it aside and instead, waited for more chicken to arrive which ran out super fast. In fact, there were some people that got tire of waiting for the chicken and gave up on the entire deal.

We had an amazing time. Definitely coming back in a few years. Highly recommend stampede, titanic, pirate, alcatraz, comedy barn, redneck bus tour.

It was magical for us all. Everyone i hoped for came true from the family picture to the meal. Extremely was a trip we must do again. I have hoped for this for my children and my mom blessed me after her death to be able to do this with the 11 members of my family. Thank you for our memories i will forever hold them in my heart.

We were celebrating our mothers 80th birthday. She has a great time. Food was good, staff was attentive and the show was amazing. The only issue was all the stairs for my mom and she did not feelcomfortable getting in the small elevator alone. But she enjoyed the event.

We had a great afternoon on the showboat. Very professionally ran event..The cocktails were amazing and u get to keep the glass as a momento of your trip. The country music show was fantastic and you get to taste the local food aswell.The staff were so friendly and helpful.

This company needs to make tickets digitally available. Having to pick up tickets is not convenient and not necessary in this day of technology.

This was a very fun evening. The food was very good and the servers for drinks, etc were also outstanding. Everyone got a table number when you get your tickets which works very well. The hour of entertainment was also outstanding. The alcohol drinks are more costly but not out of line for resort areas. We highly recommend this showboat for a fun evening of entertainment. One comment would be when food is ready dismissed a few tables at one time so the wait time in line is not so long. Also, provide a tray for someone who may be getting food for another person in a wheel chair so they don’t have to wait in the food line twice.

I loved the general jackson show boat tour! There were two seatings that day and we were second. So we got a drink on the top level and headed downstairs and enjoyed the cumberland river. We then had our meal at 1:30 and the show was great! Loved the music performance and the variety of songs they chose. Staff were helpful and friendly! I would recommend anyone to partake in this experience!

We had a great time. We were returning after30yrs. We took the general jackson dinner cruise on our honeymoon 30yrs ago and we enjoyed it this time just like back then. The entertainment was outstanding and the meal was great. We will do it again next time we come to nashville.

First, we were blessed with magnificent weather for out august 10th outing on the general jackson dinner cruise! We arrived early, since we were unsure of how the traffic would treat us. Gratefully, we were able to find a great parking place, for free, which seems to be almost unheard of in nashville. I picked up our tickets and we sat at a table outside the gate and enjoyed a nice breeze under the trees. After going through the gate we had our picture taken, which is a great souvenir. We mad our way on to the general and sat at a table on the rail and waited to get underway. After getting turned around and heading towards downtown, dinner commenced. Now here i will say a very small thing that could be improved. Calling for dinner said victorian guests and i didn't know that meant dinner guests. My wife and cousin straightened me out on this. Dinner was great and luckily, i didn't have an hour to eat, or i would have stuffed myself. I could have eaten a pound of the glazed carrots alone! After dinner we went out on the deck to enjoy even more great weather, and gazed on the river lights and bridges leading to downtown. I was able to get several good shots of the downtown lights and the lighted bridges. After the call to dessert and the show we went back in. The dessert tasted great and the show very entertaining. I applaud you on the talent you have been able to get for these shows. Special shoutout to brandon martin and douglas waterbury-tieman! All four of us agreed we would do another trip on the general jackson! I am thinking heavy coat and december would be awesome!

Went her for my 9th year anniversary. I loved everything about this experience. I actually proposed to my wife 9 years ago in downtown nashville on the bridge crossing by the titans stadium. It was nice cruising past that same spot on the general jackson showboat. It is definitely a recommend.

A very nice gentleman name hany i believe he is the banquet manager twice i have been with guest he does an outstanding job! Also, the captain michael can not say enough michael makes a nice and unique experience every time. I would recommend this boat to anyone! I'm in love with this boat ! I come at least 6 times a year and always made to feel very important every time. Anytime i have guest from out of town always bring them to the showboat for a great experience . Thank you for everything you guys do ! Awesome job !!

It was So much fun. The musicians were spectacular and the food was delicious. I have a gluten allergy, and the staff was very happy to show me what was safe for me to eat. If i'm ever back in nashville, i'd be happy to take this river cruise again. So much fun.

Absolutely wonderful evening. A first class musical production and delicious food. We sat a table with several groups of people from all over and had great conversations before the show and during the meal. I’m a vegetarian and there was a wonderful selection for me as well as my meat loving husband. The musicians were top notch and every minute was entertaining. We did not take the opportunity to see nashville from on deck but had great views through the windows and did not feel we missed out on anything (although next time we might head up for a bit). You will have a night to remember and i would 100 recommend this cruise to locals and visitors alike.

What a great dinner cruise ot was worth every penny the food was really good along with the drinks were surprisingly good. There were some specialty drinks that looked really good i stuck with my wine but i was tempted to try something different. The band that played while we were having drinks waiting to be seated for dinner was excellent, and the dinner shoe was fabulous. I highly recommend this cruise.. A fun time was had by all.

Starting with the captain, the chief engineer, the chief cook, the crew, everybody on board did everything they had to do to make that cruise no.1 on our list. The show was amazing, done professionally, the food was excellent. We didn't know what to expect, but coming to nashville, the general jackson is a must to see. We also loved the trolley tour, broadway street and of course the country music everywhere.

Also there were 9 in our group but we didn’t buy our tickets together so we were all sitting at different tables but the wonderful ticket window woman got us all at the same table! That was so nice! The general jackson paddleboat dinner experience was wonderful! Not only did we see nature along the cumberland river, we had a fantastic meal and awesome entertainment with singing and fiddle playing! The boat inside was gorgeous, the dining room was spectacular, everything was clean, and the waiters were attentive, kind and funny. We got optional photos to take home with us, as well as a souvenir drink glass. All in all a great experience that i would highly recommend when visiting nashville.

General jackson dinner show was great. Everyone enjoyed it from 10 years old to 70ty. The seating were the best. Right up by the stage. Lots of room and the waiter was always checking and filling our glasses. Great service. The ice show at the grand hotel was fantastic. Kids really enjoyed it.(polar express). Fast lines too. Too crowed at the mall for black friday. Lot of line waiting.

The trip was good but i noticed some changes from my last one. After lunch and from downtown to opryland, people are confused and don't have any one to tell them where to go or what to do. Most of them came from out of usa or from other states or cities.

Everything was great. The people and the waiters were very nice. The show was great. A very good experience all the way. We plan on doing this again.

Was a once in a lifetime trip to nashville. The riverboat cruise was so worth it. It was so organized and fun!

We had a great time but the wait was too long for drinks because there was only one bartender.

Service was excellent. Dinner was mediocre. Show was okay. Been on the branson belle several times. Belle would get a 9. General jackson gets a 5. Expect much more in the “home of country music” and the grand ol opry. Kind of sad. For the price there’s no way i would recommend this “attraction”.

Absolutely loved the entire 2 1/2 hrs on the boat. Good food and excellent entertainment. Beautiful scenery along the way. A definite must if you go to nashville.

The cruise up the river was beautiful. It was interesting to see the paddle wheel working. The food was excellent and the entertainment was very enjoyable. We sat at a table with strangers but it was fun to get to know them.

Only problem was we were in the second seating. No one ever told us to go in to eat. Our grandson went and ask and we were almost missed the buffet. The guys wanted to go back but the food was gone

We had a wonderful time! From sitting outside listening to live music, having a wonderful lunch, to an amazing musical performance! They were very accommodating and went above and beyond what they needed to do being that we had a disabled person with us. This person was happy as could be. Thank you all for a great experience!!

Great food great show great cruise to downtown nashville

Excellent love the entertainment and the food was amazing!!! Love the guy that was the entertainment host (his wife was also part of entertainment) he was funny and so so good!!! Our server was so good and very attentive to our table and went above and beyond.

Liked the experience on the boat. Entertainment was awesome. Food was good dessert was awesome. Service was great. Staff was good.

The band was fantastic! Broadway caliber singers and musicians. Food was very authentic southern.

This was one of the most enjoyable things we did in nashville. The food, drinks and the show were wonderful. The evening skyline of downtown nashville was excellent. Breathtaking pictures to be taken for great memories.

I really enjoyed this boat ride the food, the show was amazing. I enjoyed every minute of it. I would recommend this to all my friends. We were celabrating my sister-n-laws birthday.

We are local residents. This cruise on the general jackson was a surprise gift to my husband for his 80th birthday.. It was a total surprise! We were both thoroughly impressed!

Lunch was good but the show was as good or better than the show that evening at the grand ole opry we are seniors and the crew was very accommodating to our needs

Overall everything was fantastic. Beautiful weather, people were so kind and helpful. Got to take some great pictures of nashville at night. The food was good other than the broccoli, it was a little tough. The cheesecake was excellent and the entertainment was great. We enjoyed the entertainment, it was fun. Would definitely recommend going on this cruise. My mother has a great time.

We attended the dinner cruise and had a great time. Everyone at the table was friendly. We were from all over the country and shared all our great worldly adventures. Plus the meal was good and the entertainment was great. Making for a very enjoyable day. We will be returning.

Entertainment was very good, some newer tunes would make it better, the show is dated. The food was mediocre, chicken was dry and looked like it had been in pan for two days. Two of my guests left in on their plates, embarrassing, it was so dry. Pulled pork was excellent, carrots also looked old. Apple crumb was also cold and again looked dried out.

It was better than i ever expected! The food was good! The entertainment was out of this world. It couldn't get any better.

Definitely the highlight of our recent trip to nashville, tn! We loved the beautiful views of the river and the nashville skyline at night. The food was good and the wait staff was a hoot! They had us laughing and enjoying the evening from the get-go. Absolutely one of the best shows we've ever seen anywhere, and we've seen alot of shows! Unbelievably talented musicians and singers with an equally skilled sound crew! The energy of that show is off the chart! One thing that could improve the experience would be to allow passengers more time to enjoy the night views before the show starts. That part was a bit too rushed. Highly recommend you to add this ezperience to your bucket list!

The food and entertainment was great! We had a good time!

To much dead time. After the dinner and show their is no more crew and guest relations. It seems the main and only objective is to get the guest fed. More entertainment, a tour guide of what the guest are seeing on the ride, dancing, a live dj. The guest seen to me very uninterested after meal. Maybe a magician hell i don't know something to peak the interest of the guest.

This dinner boat cruz was amazing. We did this on our 10 year wedding anniversary! I wouldn't have picked a better thing to do that night. The food and drinks were great! Wait staff was very nice, the show was amazing and the cruise it self was peaceful and fun!

We had a great time, very talented entertainers, food was great!! They had to turn around at the bridge due to the weather. It started raining & lightning. Be overall it was a great experience. Would love to go back sometime.

We were surprised by this lunch cruise. We had no idea there would be a show with amazing entertainers! We thought it was just lunch. The wait staff did a great job. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed it so much, we have recommended it to our friends.
