Scottish Highland Farm Tour

Animal-lovers and adventure seekers alike will have a blast on this tour, which begins at the famous Branson attraction, Bigfoot Fun Park. From there, guests will climb aboard a 28-passenger safari-style bus featuring an open-air top for some added thrills. The bus will take you and your crew on a short journey to Bigfoot Farms. Along the way, hear about the history of Branson and get glimpses of some of its most famous places, including the 76 Strip (home to the largest structure in Branson, Bigfoot Tower), Inspiration Tower, and more. This drive lasts approximately 10 minutes.

When guests arrive at Bigfoot Farms, they will be greeted by fresh air and a sprawling 60-acre pasture which is home to a social fold of Scottish Highland Cattle. These cattle are completely socialized with humans and will actually approach the safari bus to be fed and pet by visitors. You can feed them right from your hand and snap some photos of them - because they are absolutely adorable! Your tour guide has spent lots of time with the cattle, so they can answer questions you may have along the way. 

Bigfoot Farms is a large working farm, and as such these cows are used for breeding and food sourcing. With animals descended from the biggest Scottish Highland breeders in the Midwest, Bigfoot Farms is also the proud owner of the largest group of Scottish Highland Cattle in North America. There are only 11,000 of these animals calling the US home.

About Scottish Highland Cattle

These Scotland-bred cows are hardy and built for the cold weather. With double coats, their wooly appearance makes them especially adorable. Their coats come in a variety of colors which you will be able to see at Bigfoot Farms, and males and females both can grow horns. This breed is one of the oldest and rarest bovine breeds in the world, so a visit with them truly offers a one-of-a-kind experience.

Once you are finished feeding and interacting with the cattle, you will board the safari bus once more for the journey back. Breathe in the fresh air and feel the wind in your hair on the way back to Bigfoot Fun Park. The fun doesn't have to end there, either. Bigfoot Fun Park is home to other fun activities, so guests can choose to participate in mini-golf, conquer a Bigfoot-themed maze, or ride the Super Sling or Gravity bomb rides.
