Florida Airboat Adventure is a family-owned and operated business founded in 2007 by Jerry and Toni. We offer tours that put you and your friends at the front of the boat, exploring every inch along Florida's unique waterways. We boast the most oversized and most comfortable seats and the most exciting wildlife encounter in the Florida Everglades, allowing for a more personal and memorable experience.
Florida Airboat Adventure is located in Okeechobee, Florida, the heart of South Florida. Okeechobee is the "heart of Indian River County" and is home to the county's only International Airport and numerous marinas. Okeechobee is centrally located in Florida, allowing easy South Florida access. Our adventure tour includes stops at three different National Wildlife Refuges, three Great Blue Heron rookeries, and several other attractions.
The company's concept is to "offer the finest sightseeing adventure in the Florida Everglades from a professional, highly experienced tour operator." One of the founders stated that he wanted to "enhance one of the most beautiful areas in our country with a new clean and fun way for visitors to experience the sights in a completely different way." Our tour guides are knowledgeable about their hometown; they have lived and worked in the Everglades for many years. The guides love this area and treat it as their backyard.
