Anyone who plans to visit nashville should include a discover nashville tour as the first item on their to do list. This tour provides a great overview of the town, it's highlights, centers of activity, things to do and see... And it is all done with a great tour guide with a fabulous sense of humor! We thoroughly enjoyed visiting the ryman auditorium, home of the original grand ole opry, and the country music hall of fame, and we are not even country music fans! You will also have a great time on broadway with all the clubs that have musicians entertain you day and night. You gotta go to nashville!

The discover nashville tour was a great way to see nashville if you are crunched for time. You get information about the history of each site you visit. You do not stop at the parthenon, so go visit separately if you want to see it, and i think you should. The time at the ryman is more than sufficient, but you don't get to tour the opry. If you are a huge country music fan, you may want to skip the tour and visit the cm hall of fame on your own, as you only get 1 1/2 hours in there. For me, that was plenty of time. I recommend asking questions about what you will see and won't see so you can plan accordingly.

We had the combo tour and assumed when we did the sites of nashville we would just be staying on the same bus and doing the stars homes instead had to wait over an hour to do the second part of our tour on a different bus. Didn't have enough time in the museum and since we left the next day didn't get to utilize it then...The portion of getting to see the stars homes was ok but wished we had seen more stars homes and less of other people....Both drivers were excellent at their jobs

This tour showed us the downtown area and had additional information that we probably missed on the redneck tour. It was also raining on this day, but we enjoyed learning about nashville. Lee johnson, one of mrs. Johnson's boys, was our ring-leader (guide) and he was bodacious. He knew more about nashville than i ever wanted to know and he shared all of it with us. The day (saturday 02/25) was a real busy (crowded) day in downtown nashville, but lee was on his game and had us at the tour locations on time without delay. All the tour locations were excellent and we enjoyed just being exposed to so much information and views. We really enjoyed the ryman tour and we parked right at the door and didn't have to walk a long distance. Great tour and we will do an all day tour the next trip.

I did a combo tour, with the inclusive tour in the morning and the grand ole opry tour in the afternoon. Everything was top rate. My driver/tour guide was very knowledgeable and personable (same guide during both tours). Loved avoiding the hassles and extra costs associated with being in long lines for venue tickets, as well as deciphering driving instructions and related parking fees. As a wheelchair-user, i can attest that using grey lines accessible bus is the only way to see a lot of nashville when you only have a limited vacation time.

Loved this! I always try to take an overview of a city when i'm there for the first time. I chose this tour because it included admission to the ryman auditorium and the country music hall of fame. Our tour guide, tina, was lots of fun. Since she is from nashville, she threw in a few more tidbits about the city and its history. The hotel pickup option was a plus. Nashville lives up to its name music city music everywhere! In the restaurants, in the bars, on the street, even in the airport.

When i told your agent what my interests were in seeing he combined most in this tour. It definitely saved me money however it was a lot to do and see in one day. I had my senior mom with me and it was hard on her to speed through the ryman and cmhf. The afternoon was easier on her because we were sitting on the bus for the stars home tour. The tour guides were amazing. We had rudy in the morning and barry in the afternoon. They both were very knowledgeable and funny. Great day!

This tour was very lengthy. We really enjoyed the afternoon part of the tour as we went to the grand ol' opry and visited opryland resort. It would have been nice to able to able to stay at opryland resort a little longer and perhaps eat lunch there. In the morning we took the homes of the stars tour. That was very long and our tour driver was a bit of a speed demon. Perhaps that tour could be shortened and the opryland tour extended a bit. There was so much to see and do at the opryland resort!

This tour was enjoyable for the fact that we were able to learn a bit about the history of nashville and see some sites such as the music hall of fame and behind the scenes of the ryman that we wouldn't have done otherwise. My only regret is that we took this tour on our last day in nashville. We should have taken it on one of our first days! Got some pointers on good restaurants in the area, learned about a brewery that gives good tours on saturdays only, and saw some areas of nashville that we wouldn't have seen if it weren't for the tour. The best part is that you just sit back while someone else maneuvers around the town. No worries....

We all had a wonderful time, however our driver/tour guide was affable, but uninformed. Our family members on the bus basically were using their smart phones to answer their own questions because the driver didn't seem to know much about nashville. He would drive slowly past some of the historical markers, and basically just read the signs to us. He also drove by the honky-tonks and just said their names, which all of us could see from our windows, it was like being toured around by captain obvious. Like i said, he was perfectly pleasant and nice, just not suited to giving tourists a lively, information packed tour with interesting stories or bits of trivia. At both the ryman and the country music h of f he got confused when handing out our tickets, so we came up short at the point of entry and he had to escort us to the ticket taker and explain that we really did have tickets, he just messed up on handing them out somehow. I can 100 vouch for the value of taking a tour like this. It was great to have our entire family together on one bus, no worry about driving to sites separately and driving around trying to find parking, and no waiting in line for tickets! So, for those reasons alone, we all felt it was well worth it to go on this tour.

The first part of the tour was grat. The driver was very professional, knowledgeable about the city of nashville. Enjoyed going to the ryman auditorium. Country music hall of fame. We enjoyed this tour--bus was comfortable and our guide, monty, was very interesting. Fyi--we booked the tour of stars homes on our own and would nver recommend that one. We felt it was a money grab--we feel it is misrepresented. As you don't see many of the homes and they go by so fast you cannot take pictures. Many stars home are in gated communities and all you see is the gate!

He mentioned that he participated in a walk for als, to support a friend with the diagnosis. My daughters lost their dad (and for me, my husband) to als. The morning bus driver came across as a bit arrogant and not very helpful. The afternoon bus driver was excellent. One suggestion for the morning driver is to let the customers know what the time line is for the tour so they know ahead of time what will be happening and what is expected (this driver did not bother to do this and when people asked he got very abrupt with his answers).
