Myrtle Beach Bike Week

Myrtle Beach has been the meeting place for cyclists across the country since the first Bike Week in 1940. This event traditionally takes place in May each year around Memorial Day weekend and attracts over 200,00 bikers for a variety of festivities and special events. The event goes by many different names, including the Grand Strand Spring Rally, Grand Strand Rally, Cruisin the Coast Spring Rally, and Murrells Inlet Spring Rally. You can call the rally anything you want as long as you show up for the fun!

Event Activities and Attractions

Many venues including bars and nightclubs just outside the city host special events throughout Bike Week. You can find plenty of good times at the bars, as well as live concerts, beauty contests, and bikini contests. This event is chock full of biker camaraderie, biker vendors selling premier biker duds and equipment, shows, and plenty of great music. You also will want to take some time to enjoy the other attractions Myrtle Beach offers on a year-round basis such as its gorgeous beaches and fun attractions like the Dolly Parton Dixie Stampede, the Ripley's Aquarium, and Broadway at the Beach.

If you own a bike, you will want to make plans to experience one of the biking community's most famous annual events this May after all your fun activities you have scheduled. Find the best lodging for you today and book a vacation package today!
