About the Band

Formed in 1998, Needtobreathe has carved out a unique space in the rock music scene with their compelling fusion of southern rock, Americana, and a touch of gospel fervor. Needtobreathe is comprised of Bear Rinehart (lead vocals, guitar), Josh Lovelace (backing vocals, keys), Randall Harris (drums, percussion), and Tyler Burkum (guitar). The band formed in 1998 and released its very first album in 2001. This was followed by a career of 9 albums and hits including 'Who Am I', 'Walking on Water', and 'Hard Love'. The band has accrued numerous accolades over the years, including several Dove Awards, illustrating both their critical acclaim and widespread appeal.
