Silver dollar city is a great place to take the family if they are wanting a fun-filled day. You couldn't ask for a better amusement park! The rides are adventurous and the shops are filled with great souvenirs. The family loves it when we head to branson, they know where we will end up. Great job branson!!
-- The Baker Family - Verona, MO
Me and my family have been going to silver dollar city for about ten years now there is so much to do, from fire in the hole to competing with the whole family in the great american shootout. The coolest thing for me was watching them make different things.
-- Kennon C. - KENNONCHOATE28@YAHOO.COM
A wonderful family getaway!! Silver dollar city is so much fun even though the lines are long the park is full of wonderful things to do. I would highly recommend the saloon show, both of my kids loved it (3yrs and 5 years ) . We will be coming back again very soon. I would recommend silver dollar city and branson to anyone i knew.

The christmas lights and parade were exceptional as were the broadway quality shows christmas carole and it's a wonderful life. If you want to see and ride everything a two-day pass is needed.

Forgot how much fun the family has at silver dollar city!! Have not been back for a dozen years, but many new attractions. The various thrill rides were great, as well as the old stand-bys at fire in the hole and the abandoned mine. Various entertainment was great, especially the dog tricks show. Did everything, but managed to miss marvel cave again. Food was great and filled up the car with crafts!!
-- William Sincox - The Woodlands, Texas

-- Elizabeth White - Clarkton, MO
Park was very colorful for christmas. Just a bit hilly for older people
-- Robert A Hughes - Summerfield, FL
My only complaint is that we did not schedule enough time for silver dollar city. I figured that a one day pass would be all that my 21 year old and 17 year old would be enough time. It wasn't! My 17 year old said that we needed to add silver dollar city to next year's itinerary!
-- Kathryn Cosgrove - Opelousas, LA
One day is not enough to do the things you want in december! Shortened hours and very long lines to get from one show to another. The marvel cave experience was incredible!!! We also did the dixie stampede and should've booked together to get a much better price. Overall, great trip!
-- Rose Wander - Elgin, IO

Was nice, just spaced out a bit much. Things were spaced out being open. Rides were late opening. But at least the lines weren't long, so we enjoyed what we did.

Loved the christian atmosphere. Not big wait times. And honors or country and it's veterans. It just can't get any better than this!
-- Sharon Lea - Lufkin, TX
Was fun for grandkids. Employees weren't as cheerful as i thought they should be. Our stay at the la quinta inn was not so good. Breakfast and pool were great. The place has worn out.Cost is way too high for a not so clean place.Carpet was so filthy..Made our feet black !Had to have the room gone over before we could stay in it. We just didn't feel comfortable there.
-- Karen Taylor - Mustang, OK
-- Darryl DeLao - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
The park looked like a lot of fun, but almost every ride that looked like fun was closed. I would like to go again, but not in cold weather.
-- Neil Nelson - Imboden, Arkansas
Weather was terrible.....Only a couple of rides open. Cave was very interesting and literally took my breath away.....Climbing back up.
-- Darryl Socha - El Campo, TX

Wonderful! The lights were beautiful, the people so friendly and helpful. Especially enjoyed the train ride and the telling of the christmas story by grandpa. Thank you for the bringing the real reason for christmas to the forefront and in such a special way.

-- Linda Smith - Little Rock, AR
Ok i loved it but i wasn't able to do much i didn't reserve a handicap scooter and they were out of them by the time i got thru the line which so we weren't able to stay long by noon or so we had to leave i wasn't able to walk so i feel bad about that i wanted to do more with my kids but was unable to
-- Rebecca Trout - Perkins, OK
Had a great time!
-- Janet Hill - Pineville, LA
It is such a shame that there are almost twice as many places to try and sell you things, than there are attractions. The grounds are lovely and employees nice, but iits quite a money sucker at every step.
-- Dana Campos - Independence, MO
It's silver dollar city. Always good
-- Robert Newberg - Enid, OK

-- Jean Whatley - Benton, AR
Great time but very hot this time of year.
-- Sandy Johnson - Easton, Kansas
This was our first visit to silver dollar city and my family loved it! The only tip i would suggest is to make sure that if you are using the printed version from your home computer for the admittance ticket to make sure it doesn't get the slightest bit damp because the workers can't scan the barcode. With that being said, they were very helpful and quick in getting us into the park! We thoroughly enjoyed our day!
-- Dale Jennings - Vicksburg, MS
What a beautiful time of year to visit silver dollar city (christmas time). The lights were amazing, the shows were unbelievable-theatre quality, the food in the park was surprisingly good, the staff was courteous and helpful, the park was really clean and the stores were unique.

Silver dollar city was awesome.
-- Amber Huffman - Hot Springs , AR
We loved sdc. Loved the attractions, the shows we saw and the cave. The food was good, both in smell and taste. Sdc has a more relaxed feel than most other theme parks, which we really enjoyed.

Branson, mo is one of my favorite places to visit. Not only is it a beautiful city, the people there are so friendly, they honor and respect all our military, and it's a city created from god's love, grace, and mercy. The first full day i was there, i went to silver dollar city amusement park. Silver dollar city has awesome roller coasters, a fun house called grandpa's mansion, thrill rides, etc. They recently opened up a new coaster called the outlaw which is my new favorite ride there. It's a fast moving wooden coaster which has two back to back barrel roles. After the park, i went to see the baldknobbers jamboree sow which started at 8:00pm. It's a show that entertains the audience with hilarious comedy, country music classics, military honoring, and gospel music it was also branson's first show that started it all. That's a must see show. The next day i went on the branson bell which is a dinner/theater cruise on table rock lake. They also had great music, entertainment , and really good food. All together i'd say i had a very awesome time while in branson and it was sad i had to cut out of there a few days early. Would i go back? Definitely! I've all ready been back several times and the experience is always different but the same good ole loving people are still there.
-- Jack Sain - Memphis, TN
We were interested in seeing the craftsmen doing their work and making things. About 25 of them were but most were only trying to sell their wares in their booths. I saw the same items in all the flea market booths spread all around the town of branson. It seems we were only able to buy the 2 day ticket on the net but i saw one day ticket sales at the park which was plenty long enough for us.
-- William Fuller - Centralia, WA
Awsome! Lots of thing to see and do
-- David Cotton - Oregon, MO
Very nice park. Have seen the undercover boss series on the company owning the park. Very friendly employees, clean park, we experienced a lost ticket but was nicely handled by both the park and branson shows.Com had a teen separate from us (showed back up on his own) staff went to work immediately to locate. Food is a little pricey. Goods and services were priced fair in comparison to what you'd expect at other parks.
-- Michael Boaz - Overland Park, KS
It was okay. The harvest festival was nice, but not what i expected. But we still had a good time even though it was cloudy and little rain.
-- Joseph Kaskiewicz - Palm Bay, FL
2 full days here and it was a blast , a lot of fun without the rides , and then you throw in a couple of bad ass coasters and it doesn't get any better , were already talking about next year
-- Scott Pannier - Arnold, MO
-- James Campbell - Osage , KS
Fun for the whole family
-- John Ford - Edmond, OK
Was good if you do this make sure you get your tickets at first booth then go to second one to get into park
-- Rhonda Goforth - Alton, IL
Wonderful day. Shows, rides, food, shopping and everyghing were great.
-- Cindy Cagle - Oklahoma City, OK

-- Margaret Blain - Louisville, KY
We loved this experience and would definitely go again. Everything was clean and well maintained and fun, fun! I don't think that the trip would have been complete had we not gone to silver dollar city.
-- Jo Lynn Helton - Petal, MS
-- Susan Powers - Las Vegas, NV
Too many hills. There were no performances of merit. It seemed to be filled with gospel singing--which i am not a fan of.
-- Donna Brem - Macon, MO
The vendors there were very interesting and we probably spent more money than we should have but it was great.
-- Connie Magruder - Belton, Missouri
A great place to go either by yourself or with your family. Great shows and lots of great shopping.
-- Elizabeth Jackson - Florissant, MO
Great weather, warm and not humid, allowed us to enjoy two days. Great food and fun with our grandchildren. Want to go back.
-- Marilyn Treder - Rochester, MN
Had an awesome time
-- Douglas Noer - Grand island, Nebraska
Not as many shows due to between festivals. :( no craftsmen doing anything. :( food, especially drinks, way too high. $3.75 for a drink, really?!?
-- Charles Crabtree - Catoosa, OK
The hill were a little difficult for one, in our group...She is recovering from injury, But she did the cave and the hills, without complaint! The crowds were really managed by the lay out, But i had a hard time figuring out the simple map and maybe not enough signs... But! I would certainly go back and see what we couldn't get to! The bubble show was fun, as well.
-- Tepricia Reeder - Seward, NB
Great attraction. Great people. No problems or concerns.

We didn't realize that the hours were restricted the week we were there until almost time to go and had to reschedule. The day we went the mo state band was there for opening of christmas season. My husband stood in line for over an hour to rent a stroller. The lines were crazy but on sun we returned and it was great.

-- Mike Morkes - Kingfisher, OK
Enjoyed the shows most of all. The food was good too.
-- Gary Centers - Portage, IN
Map was not very clear as to what attractions were rides vs. Shops.
-- Jeff Butler - Overland Park, KS
Had a good time.
-- Gary McClanahan - Platte City, MO
It was fun, but frustrating when you can't find any of the rides bc the maps are so spread out across the park that you can't understand where to go to find things! Other than that super fun!
-- Ashley Marti - Saint Elmo, IL
Enjoyed the shows and the mercantile of special arts and crafts.
-- Jeff Hoyer - Gladstone, MO
Enjoyed our two days. Everyone was nice and had a good time.
-- Cliff Browning - Eupora, MS
We loved everything about silver dollar city. The only thing that wouldn't have made it better was the weather. It was a little rainy and cold on friday...But the weather was fantastic on saturday....We will definitely be making a trip to branson again....We just won't be staying at moutain music inn again.
-- Gregory Wood - Bixby, OK

-- Larry Spencer - Independence, MO
This is how it really is. Very hilly steep walking. If you have problems walking or breathing. Don't go. It cost to much, for what it is. If you do go, go during the weekday's you might get to ride all the rides without standing all day. $8.00 for a soda pop is to much. No smoking except in a few little spots. It is out in the fresh air. No smoking!!! Hahaha kids do enjoy the rides, but they didn't pay the $50. For each to ride. Shows un known talent. Much like your home town singers, at church, or local bar. Singers are ok, just like at home. You will mot need to go back the second day same old thing, the next day. I don't get around good, but i can see it all in 4 to 5 hours. Unless you pick a busy weekend, you will pay to just to find your way back out, haha every thing is high priced. Nothing you have not seen a hundred times. Branson in town, most shows are like the old ed sulliven show. I've seen most during area appreciation days in march. For $5.00 to $10.00 a show. That is in my opinion all there worth. Some were still to high. Best show in branson paul revere and the raiders. Lots of junk shops, like every where. Save your money, i don't hate the place i live here. Seen it all. Just want you to have a really cool vacation. You deserve it. You deserve to know the truth.
-- D.H. - Nixa, MO
What about a 1 day pass
-- Toni - Franksville

-- Sabrina - Derby Ks
We primarily went to the shows, which wee all very good. But a lot of uphill walking required to get anywhere in the park.
-- Michael Hill - Fairborn, OH
Loved it , nice and shady even on a hot hot day. Only complaint....Bought a wooden spoon from the 'wood turner' guy...When i picked up my wooden spoon as we left the park, a paper tag had been added to it saying it was made in thailand!!!! That's not at all how they were displayed, i thought it was made right there at the woodsman's booth with all of the lathes, etc.... I wouldn't have bought it had i know it was made in thailand! Kind of surprised me.
-- Lisa Sellers - Fort Smith, AR
Lots of fun
-- Joy Estes - Wiley, CO
We never miss going to silver dollar city. My wife and i are close to 70 and we still enjoy all the wet rides. We go prepared and have fun doing it.
-- William Turner - Chandler, TX
We had a great time.
-- Angela Etheridge - Oklahoma City, OK
The park has a lot of great rides and you can bring food & drinks in if you want. The only suggestion i have is when you get ready to take the tram back to your car prepare to be patient. The trams don't cycle as often as they need to so the wait was longer than expected.
-- Jayne Bryant - Orange, TX
Weather did not cooperate, never got above 35 and most rides close below 40, unusual cold snap. Facility and shows were excellent
-- Gerard Saponara - Manlius, NY
Cold but beautiful touch of winter
-- Jane Jones - Murfreesboro, AR

-- Randall Kling - Duncan, OK
Voucher was easy to exchange for tickets
-- Betty Gooding - Centralia, MO
We may not have been in the right mood but two shows that we wanted to see were not showing and since we aren't into the rides it limited what we had to do.
-- Michael Russell - Mascoutah, IL
My family and i went to silver dollar city this past sunday. We ate at the pizza buffett our waitress betty was the best we had the whole time we were at branson. I think she should receive some kind of recognition for all her hard work.
-- Bessie Chamineak - Steelville Missouri
We all had a good time
-- Susan Cloud - Siloam Springs, AR
-- Nell Bankston - Alexandria, LA
It was great by the time we went to it we were a little tired. The shows where great i would have wish we got a map in the entrance instead of trying to find one from after walking around a lot.
-- Romari Quinteros - Vanburen, AR
Great family place! A little hard on me with the up and down hills as i come from the flat country, but good exercise in addition to good entertainment.

Silver dollar city was a lot of fun, although it was much more hilly than expected (even for hill country). We greatly enjoyed the cave tour and the shows, which were high quality.
-- Tim Boswell - Lewisville, TX
Loved the christmas lights and parade.
-- Edward Lapham - Decater, AR
I am handicapped and it was almost impossible to get onto the shuttle trams. It was a mad dash for the few seats available. I was pushed and shoved out of the way several times. The silver dollar city employees who were running the shuttles did nothing to assist me. I guess that i will have to find an attraction which is more dedicated to seeing that handicapped people have the same access as everyone else.
-- Roger - Olathe, Kansas
The lights and christmas theme was awesome. The dickens christmas carol show was wonderful. Very good acting and music.
-- Jim Ley - Rowlett, TX

I hate thrill rides, rollercoasters in particular, but i love silver dollar city! Offering more than rides, this theme park transports visitors to 18th century ozarks. The park is very natural looking, and there is a great selection of down home cooking and arts & crafts.
-- Scott Andrews - Kansas City, MO

-- David And Ardie Hinkley - Castle Rock, Colorado
Very nice. Entertainment was excellent. Rides were great. A little too commercial. The artisans who were making the crafts were pushing the sales of the products a little heavy handed.
-- Mark Frankel - Fond Du Lac, WI
Wow! From the beautiful grounds to the crafts people to the rides, silver dollar city is truly the best all-round family attraction in branson! It's a good thing you get a 2 day pass because you cannot see, do and experience silver dollar city in just one day! Great shopping, great craftspeople, great food, great entertainment and incredible rides all in one location! Wow!!
