"I think this show was cute."

I think this show was cute. I loved the set up and the food was delicious. However, our 3 children were not interested at all. They did not like the food, didn't know any of the songs, and were bored to death. I don't recommend this for children (ours are 5,7 and 8). Personally, i wouldn't come again because it wasn't my thing. But for someone who is in to this, it's great. Light show and tower were great!

Dinner was simple but very well done and plenty left over. We enjoyed the show very much, outstanding group of musicians with some comedy mixed in. The trail of lights was spectacular, you could see the time and effort that went into each exhibit. We highly recommend this show.

"This was a nice family show."

This was a nice family show. A group of performers who portray cowboy figures of those who in our past have spent time 'on the range' hold the show for two hours. They sing, play multiple instruments and told stories. Some were funny and some were of a more serious 'prayerful' nature. The dinner was fine and it probably was at it really was on the 'trail'. We found the portions of turkey to be adequate but they were pretty small. Otherwise, starchy beans, corn and bread pudding made up the menu. None of it was bad and probably filled up anyone who ate that. No complaints about that, this food is prepared outside, on skillets and pots and pans like those used 'on the trail'. So it was probably authentic. It was a 'nice' evening of cowboy christmas songs, and thoughtful poetry from 'the range'.

Portions of food were not the same on each plate. My husband got little meat and the man next to him had more than ample amount. The entertainment was mediocre at best. We will not be attending again.

We thoroughly enjoyed the dinner & music! And then......The light trail was extraordinary! We are so glad we chose this venue as part of our christmas visit to branson! The staff was all so friendly and efficient. Our dinner girl (i think her name was casey...Not sure) was very good! She was so attentive to our needs & especially kind to our brother (who happens to be down syndrome). Thank you casey! Wonderful experience!

Everyone needs to take in the christmas on the trail chuck wagon dinner show! The food is delicious and hot when served. The performers are excellent musicians and provide a nice variety of songs, poetry and familiar songs highlighting the meaning of christmas. The show was enjoyable and very entertaining. But the facility was horrid. We had to sit directly under one of the propane heaters and almost passed out from the heat. They need a different heating system and they would move to 5 stars. The trail of lights was beautiful and worth the drive.
