About Billy Dean
Billy Dean was born in a small Florida town named Quincy. He started his career in music at the young age of eight years old where we sang in his father's band known as the Country Rocks. He went on tour in his teens a tween years throughout the Gulf Coast and then got his first big break into country music when he won on Star Search as the Best Male Vocalist in 1988. The success on the show led to signing with Columbia Records where he released his debut album in 1990 titled Young Man. Since then he has gone on to release ten more albums and has been awarded a Grammy and Top New Male Vocalist of the Year by the Academy of Country Music awards.
