Reviews of Barefoot Queen Myrtle Beach Lunch & Dinner Cruises

This was a return visit to the barefoot princess riverboat dinner cruise and it exceeded our expectations! This trip included all three sisters and one required handicap access. The very warm and accommodating attendant greeted us and helped with accessible parking and boarding. The captain and his crew welcomed us as we boarded and provided excellent service. We enjoyed a nice dinner of chicken, pork, vegetables and dessert complemented with an option of complete bar service. The very talented entertainment provided us with live music and tour commentary as we cruised along the inter coastal waterway, and took special song requests from the audience. We’ll definitely include this experience in our next trip to myrtle beach!

The dinner was excellent as was the entertainment by travis powell. I had the most fun opportunity to sing a song with him while on the dinner cruise. The whole crowd was going crazy. We had a blast. The cost of the dinner cruise was very reasonable. We are going back this fall and plan to take another dinner cruise on the barefoot queen.

The sightseeing cruise on the icw was great! It was a beautiful day and my wife, daughter and i were looking for a different way to explore the local area. We live near the icw and wanted to take a boat trip so that we could see more of it.

For a relaxing time if you get tired of sandy feet, put on your shoes and board the barefoot queen to cruise the intercoastal. Maybe you will spot an osprey. We did. We guarantee you will get a really satisfying dinner. We had barbeque and some of the best baked chicken, so tender that it fell of the bone. A trolley will pick you up and drop you at the dock. The trolley driver/boat's captain took special care of my husband who needed some special seating to ride the trolley.

We came from atlanta area and have done cruises before but this was the absolute best experience. The cruise was easy to book and find its location. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The singer was very nice to hear. Dinner and drinks was absolutely delicious and you cannot beat the value. We had a wonderful experience and will book this trip again the next time we go to myrtle beach. This is a must do activity while there thank for a wonderful time

I took my sister for her 65th birthday along with her daughter who is 38. Its just the two of us here in south carolina and we try to do fun things for our birthdays. This was so perfect. Everyone was extremely kind, and the food was good. The best part for us was standing at the bow and watching the sunset. It was a perfect day with beautiful sunlight, and a perfect sunset, followed by twinkling lights as we pulled into port.

The crew was very friendly and efficient. Our tour guide, i dont remember his name, was informative and entertaining. Wed go on the trip again.

The trip was nice , the sandwich was good and waiters were very efficient we also enjoyed the music by the west virginia crooner.

Very fun way to spend the day the boat ride was only part of the fun, sing along made the cruise that much better

I really enjoyed this one. The crew was great, very warm and welcoming. The entertainment was wonderful. However, i was a bit disappointed with lunch. I knew it was sandwiches but it was just sandwiches

Beautiful day for a cruise on the waterway. Met some very nice folks, had a decent dinner and saw some amazing homes. Would highly recommend.

We had an absolutely wonderful time on the lunch cruise at barefoot landing in myrtle beach the atmosphere was so peaceful, and the experience was both relaxing and enjoyable. The scenery, gentle breeze, and friendly staff made it a perfect way to spend the afternoon. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a calm and memorable outing

The staff was friendly and the boat was clean and cool. We sat on the lower deck, you could see out the windows along the trip. The host gave a brief history about the houses and the intercoastal that was interesting. The host also sang, and her voice was lovely.

We absolutely loved it just wanted to say live entertainment, drinks the air conditioner and the food was great but what made all that amazing was crew members the captain let both my kids drive the boat that was most memorable moment and shout out for our 12th anniversary she we went live the woman who sung my husband doing love things usually that well but he listed everything i did and he said what could be better. The food was great and again people working was so sweet and kind to us this first time weve got to do this we gonna do it. Again next year and every year probably after for our anniversary date

We booked the barefoot rivercruise jimmy buffett tribute cruise for june 28th. Such a great time captain bobby, bartenders, carolyn and singer les were all fantastic everyone on board, including us had a blast my only complaint was it was only 1.5 hours lol they do cruises almost everyday, and they have special ones like this buffett themed one 4th of july, christmas, valentines etc. Add a little fun to your trip to myrtle and book a cruise with them

This was a great dinner cruise

The food was good and the entertainment was great. The female singer had a nice voice and a great personality. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary as well as many couples on the cruise. We were on the dinner cruise.

Was a nice ride. We sat downstairs, entertainment was upstairs. When we went outside to sit enjoy the ride/ view there were very few seats. Food was ok, should have also had fish or beef also on the buffet not just pork chicken. Needed more than 1 person serving the food. Took way too long to get your dinner.

Im gotta say, this was the greatest experience weve ever had on any cruise weve ever had. We were wined and dined and pampered in so many ways, there were singing and dancing and so much sightseeing. We got to see movie stars homes and wildlife and so much more. Its hard to explain the total experience.It was so much fun. We have recommended this to so many friends. We will be going back every year for this.

We had a most wonderful time. The weather was perfect. Lakita was magnificent with her singing and knowledge of the intercoastial seaway. The bar service and wait service made you feel right at home. The lunch was fresh and tasty. Thank you barefoot queen

Very nice place to celebrate an special ocassion, my group enjoyed it, the music was perfect, although, i think the food could be improved a little better, from scale 1 to 10 the food was a 5, not too many choices, specially for gluten free and sugar free - keto dieters. Other than that the people were nice, the environment, the bathrooms were cleaned and the fieldtrip was great.

The food and service was very good. The information about the intercostal waterway was interesting. The music and scenery was also enjoyable.

We took the barefoot queen for a dinner cruise. Food was fine. Nothing spectacular, but good and filling. Drinks were reasonably priced and tasty. Felt a little bit like downton abby - the upstairs guests were served different food than the downstairs guests. But after dinner was over, everyone went out to the outside decks, and we all mingled together. Our entertaining hostess had a very nice voice and sang some well known songs. She also shared some info on the neighborhoods we were passing. We passed our resort, grande dunes marina inn, and it was very interesting to see it from the water.

What a beautiful and wonderful experience, especially with the buy one get one free , a really good experience and highly recommended to all

We had a blast our friends who were with us enjoyed it very much. The crew and the captain were just great as was the entertainment. Will recommend this most definitely to those we know who will be visiting myrtle beach. Our next time visit we may do the dinner trip.

We had a wonderful time on the cruise. The meal was very good and the music was awesome. Les marples is a great performer, entertainer and is very knowledgeable about the intercoastal waterway and all the area around it. I would recommend it to anyone that wants a relaxing time on the water.

The singer/storyteller on board was really energetic. We had a nice 6 mph ride a few miles up and down the intracoastal waterway. You are mostly indoors, so dont let bad weather stop youthe lunch was average, but they had good sweet tea.

Great experience. I left important papers on the boat and came back to get them. The guy dressed up in the easter bunny costume went back on the boat in between excursions and found them. It was very kind of him, and i really appreciated it. The boat ride was spectacular

Pleasant time on the boat. Good information. Did not like the fact that students on the boat were allowed to go up for seconds when we did not even get called up to the serving area---thus---we had to wait for our food--because the food on our level of the boat ran out. Great that there was a bus transportation system from the parking lot to the boat.

This was my third time on the cruise, but first with lunch and entertainment, i would suggest if you visit myrtle beach to take the cruise. We met a lot of very nice vacationers and the entertainment and information we learned was very good. Great way to spend an afternoon. Captain and crew were very polite and nice.

We really enjoyed the entire experience. The absolutely great singer was certainly an added bonus. We had just been to legends in concert the night before and he was better than any of them.Service and entire staff so very nice.

I had the pleasure of experiencing the dinner cruise on the barefoot queen in myrtle beach. The ambiance was inviting from the moment we boarded, and the staff was attentive and friendly.The boat is beautifully maintained and offers stunning views of the water as we cruise. The entertainment is top-notch, featuring a talented singer who creates the perfect backdrop for a delightful evening. The food was good, and the buffet style offered a small but nice selection. The combination of a good meal with the scenic views made for a truly memorable dining experience.

Lunch was okay. It was pleasant to dine on the water while cruising the intercoastal waterway. Some of the homes were quite impressive. A nice relaxing meal.

The staff was great and were very efficient. The narrator/singer was great and encouraged guest participation. The entree was good and quite tastefull.

It was very nice experience. I think one request will be to have more interaction in or between the guest maybe if they have some kind of game trivia or even just put tables together so people interact with each other.

We had a wonderful dinner cruise, every one in the staff so welcoming , food was great and hot will plan on another cruise in the future .

The barefoot queen was very nice the tour was beautiful, the dinner was actually pretty good, and the entertainment was great the bartender was wonderful too making me a very tasty drink, and even came to find me when my table was about to be up for the food. If anyone plans on going alone, i would suggest requesting to be on the top floor, as well as, up front closer to the food or, at least, the entertainment.

My wife and i, along with a couple of friends, thought we would celebrate my wife's birthday by having a quaint, leisurely lunch & cruise aboard the barefoot queen paddleboat. What we got was anything but quaint & leisurely. It was a blast. The staff on board the craft was outstandingly pleasant and attentive. Entertainment was provided by a dj who turned out to be quite an accomplished singer. We danced, laughed & had one of the most fun that we have had in quite q long time. It was a huge success and i highly recommend it to anyone who reads this review and is wondering whether it would be worth the price. Yes, it is!!

This was the best boat tour ever. The music and food was fantastic.

We enjoyed. It it was really nice. Dinner was great when we are in myrtle beach we would do this again. It was nice and relaxing every one was great, even the other guests we talked to were great to talk to.

Barefoot queen myrtle beach dinner cruise was the highlight of our vacation. We weren’t expecting such a friendly crew. They absolutely couldn’t do enough for us. And the entertainment was phenomenal. The food was delicious. We have told everyone about the great time we had and will be back next february to cruise again.

It was a relaxing evening out. The food was good and the staff went out of their way to make it special for my son on his 10th birthday. They even allowed my children to take the wheel under the captain's supervision and steer steer. It was a wonderful time.

This was such a fun time! Excellent customer service, we were caught in traffic due to the mustang show and were late getting to the boat but they called me to check on us and held the boat until we got there. It was nice experience. Wasn't long enough

My 3-year-old grandson waited a year to be able to take a cruise on the barefoot queen. He had seen it on a previous trip to visit us in myrtle beach and that's all he talked about from that moment on. Finally, this summer, the timing and the weather were perfect and he had the time of his life. He even got invited to go upstairs to the pilot house to meet captain bobby and learn how to steer the big boat. The crew was very accommodating and truly cared about their passengers having a wonderful time. I highly recommend to barefoot queen to tourists and residents alike.

This was our first time on the dinner cruise. We really enjoyed the trip! It was nice to just relax and enjoy the view as we had our dinner. My family all said that they would do it again!

The sightseeing trip was informative and the scenery was lovely. It was also fun to see the stately mansions and find out some of the owners like vanna white! We really enjoyed the musical performer as well.

The dining area and the food on the barefoot queen dinner cruise was outstanding. The large windows and table linens made it feel special as we dined, cruised and enjoyed entertainment. Each party had an assigned table. The staff was pleasant, helpful and courteous. The entertainment singer was very talented and provided excellent touring information between songs. The overall experience exceeded my expectations and i look forward to doing it again the next time we are in myrtle beach.

We thoroughly enjoyed our cruise. It looked like rain so most of the passengers chose indoor seats. We knew we wouldn't melt so we got the 4 seats in the front of the boat. Since there is no wake my sister-in-law did not need to worry about being sick. The lady that did that talking was knowledgeable and also had a lovely voice. It was one of the best activities of our visit. Try it, you'll like it.

Really enjoyed the dinner cruise and the food. The singer did good also and also gave a lot of history about myrtle beach. It was relaxing and entertaining. Also walked out on the deck and looked outside and the homes as we passed by them.

The crew was very courteous and personable! My husband is handicapped and one of the crew members took my husband up the ramp for me in the wheelchair! I can't say enough about the experience! The food was great also! Would do it again!

The staff was really friendly. I liked the singer/moderator especially telling us the history of the area and telling us what famous people lived there.

The trip was ok it was just cold the barefoot boat dinner cruise was boring at first but went upstairs and partied with the private party and ended up having a great time the cruise needs better food though the sites were very nice from ship they did give a shout out for my girls birthday

We had always wanted to take the tour when we were here on vacation but never seemed to have time. Since we now live in myrtle beach we decided to take it as part of our anniversary celebration. We enjoyed the trip and the information and singing and plan to take the trip again next year. We want to do the dinner cruise and take the lunch cruise again.

Learned a lot of history of the area while on the cruise. We sat on the lower level so never got to see our commentator/singer. Would have been nice to have a video feed to the monitor on the first level. She was very good and enthusiastic about her presentation. All the staff were very kind and helpful and did their jobs well.

Hi! My family and i had a great time. The highlight of the cruise was seeing my 84 year old mom dancing and having a good time. I really enjoyed the music. I wish i had a cd. The sandwiches was ok. Nice scenery.

My mom is 84 traveled with some friends and i to myrtle beach. She had a great time on the cruise. We got to know others and everyone joined in on the fun of dancing and singing. Everyone was so nice. We truly enjoyed the musician.

It was very pleasant. The vocalist did a great job with singing and entertaining. We loved the bartender and the young lady and gentleman that served the lunch. Beautiful view, very clean boat. The only thing that was a problem was that the air conditioning was way too cold.

I live in florida. I planned on taking a vacation to myrtle beach, sc in august, so i looked online at attractions in myrtle beach. I came across vacations made easy and immediately bought two cruises on their website. I took a dolphin cruise and a barefoot dinner cruise. I was very pleased with both. I had such an amazing time, the food was really great. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about everything. I'll definitely go back. I'm planning a different trip next, however, i'll most definitely use vacations made easy for my attraction needs. Thank you for making it easy for me.

We had a lovely time on the cruise! The staff was simply amazing! The food was delicious! The host was very engaging! And the sights were fun to see! And and and we got to ride on a paddleboat! It was awesome! My husband has is paralyzed and using a special walker and was in a lot of pain from a recent fall, and the staff let us board a bit early as to not have to worry about the crowd of folks as we were trying to get on the boat! Just one of the sweet things done for us! Loved our night out! Thanks so very much! ????????

The cruise was relaxing, the music was great for older generation. The food was tasty but cold and dry. My party was in the deck below where there was no air conditioning, so we had to open the windows. Other than that we enjoyed the ride and scenery.

This a great cruise for small children and adults. We had a dj that did great renditions of oldie songs. My teenage grand girls thought it was a little boring. I would have enjoyed listening to a guide about the landscape were were passing.

Relaxing and fun! We even danced to the music! The food was ok not great. The service was very good.

We really had a great time. They had good and not to expensive drinks the pace was fine. Elvis as the dj was funny, a bit off key at times but made it part of the ambiance. I live here and it was great to find another reasonable thing to bring guests on.

We had a very relaxing ride down the waccamaw. The viewing attraction is all the beautiful homes along the ride. The crew was very courteous. Drinks were good. Our entertainer did a wonderful job. Might try the dinner cruise next time

I promise to take my family on vacation every year and with them working, school, college and us all so extra busy, i count everyday as a blessing. We visited for a week in oak island and we needed something to do on our last day. I wanted to be on the water and my daughter-in-law for this cute boat ride with, entertainment, mixed drinks and dinner. So we loaded up our vans and heading over to south carolina. Everyone was very nice and it was a fun/memorable night. I even joined the singer on the mic for a little extra entertainment. Thanks barefoot queen myrtle beach sightseeing & dinner cruise for a nice evening.

The barefoot queen myrtle beach dinner cruise was amazing. The dinner was really nice and it tasted good too. The tour guide did a great job explaining all of the sights during the cruise. It was a really nice way to bring in my son's 16th birthday

Great experience. The bartender was so sweet and a lot of fun. The entertainment was fun. We didn’t know what to expect but he did great and had everyone up and dancing. Good and drinks were good and not so much that you didn’t feel well out in the water. The tour was beautiful. I went with a friend last year. Going to myrtle beach again next year and considering taking my husband on the dinner cruise.

The food wasn’t the best but the boat ride was worth it.

This was our 1yr anniversary trip and our first time in myrtle beach. The sightseeing cruise on the barefoot queen was very very nice. Great staff, it wasn't too crowded. The live entertainer was awesome. He was very versatile with his music chooses, a little something for every musical taste. Fantastic bartender. This cruise really set the tone for an epic anniversary weekend for us

We really enjoyed the dinner cruise! The food served on the buffet was good and plenty to go around for 2nds. The view was lovely and we got some really nice pics. It was a very relaxing evening!

We wanted to try something different this valentine’s day so i thought why not a cruise. I haven’t ever been on a river boat let alone had dinner on one so i looked around on google and boom! Vacations made easy was true to its name. This was the perfect little get away. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The view of the river at night with a few lights here and there was better than i could have hoped for. Thanks for providing such a great experience.

Very enjoyable event. The major problem was timing. With the start they had and the time of year. The last half of tour was a none event. So dark could not see anything but reflections of interior lights one windows. The entertainment was very good.

Very relaxing and entertaining cruise. The staff was ver friendly and courteous and went out of their way to be sure we had everything we needed. Travis did an awesome job on the songs. We even enjoyed a few dances with the other guests. The food was hot and delicious and the bar offered many drinks. The bartender was exceptional as well. Would highly recommend!

The helmsman was polite and friendly and greeted us before getting on the boat! It was a very relaxing boat ride! Dinner and the staff was excellent! The boat ride was very enjoyable. The food was great. The chicken was juicy and flavor . The staff were all very nice and it was nice that you had a trolley ride to get to the boat .

I enjoyed the dinner cruise. The food was fine, the boat was fine, the trip down the river was fine. Our bartender was nice and kind, with a great personality. My only somewhat negative comment is that i was seated at the table immediately before the buffet. The line of people was so close to me that i felt like everyone was watching every bite i took. This made me feel very uncomfortable and took away from the dinner cruise experience.

My husband and i enjoyed the cruise. The food wasn't bad, it was ok. The crew was really nice, but the tour guides live singing was a bit much to be desired, however most seemed to enjoy it. The sites were amazing, both the lifestyle of the rich and famous, and the wildlife.
