The trails are, of course, cold. So be sure to wear the recommended clothing during your snowshoeing adventure. Suggested clothing includes lightweight longjohns (not cotton), water proof hiking or winter boots with wool socks, long sleeve layer, a ski jacket, ski pants, sun screen (SPF 30 or higher), a brimmed hat, beanie, 2 pairs of ski gloves in case one gets wet, sunglasses, ski goggles, a small backpack, and camera. If you do not have proper shoes, you will be able to rent some before your trip begins.
