About the Truckee River 1/2 Day Tour
Start your journey off with a short shuttle ride from Truckee. Once you arrive at the Truckee River in the Tahoe and Reno area, you will be able to take to the waters to enjoy some Class II and III introductory rapids. It is great for the entire family as guests only need to be five years old to participate in the endeavor. Once arriving, you will explore the Truckee River, the only river flowing out of Lake Tahoe's alpine lake. This exciting ride features some class II and III rapids for plenty of fun that is great for beginners and intermediates alike. The guided trip is mellow until it arrives at the swells! The entire trip includes approximately 7 river miles and 2 hours on the water.
About the Middle Fork American River Full Day Tour
For those who are wishing to add a longer adventure onto their Lake Tahoe getaway agenda, the Middle Fork American River Full Day Tour is a great option as well. This tour is best for intermediate and advanced adventurers as it features Class IV rapids. Because of this, the minimum age for this trip is 12 years old. On the journey, you will take an hour shuttle ride while enjoying views along the way. Upon arrival at the North Fork American River, guests will take to the rapids. See Chamberlain Falls, wildflower fields, and take to the Class IV rapids. The entire journey 10 hours with lunch included.
