It travels for ten miles along the Savannah River past historical landmarks such as the City Market District with King's Daughters' School of the Arts, Chatham Square featuring King's Daughters' Music School, Fort Barrancas, and Oglethorpe Barracks, as well as historical sites along the river such as Oglethorpe University, The College of William and Mary at Itsoka Redan which marks the historical invasion by General Arthur Howe.
