Early Life & Career

Lee began playing piano at age seven and saxophone when he was twelve, and his life has been pretty much always interlaced with music.  By the time he finished high school, Lee had mastered most of the instruments in the orchestra and was the Drum Major.  After graduating, he passed on track and music scholarships in favor of his love for performing.  In 1979, he began playing at the Golden Hotel & Casino in Reno, where he was discovered by Larry McFaden (the bass player for Mel Tillis), who brought Lee to Nashville where Lee signed to Halsey Agency.

Check him out!  Live in concert, Lee Greenwood will bring you his seven number-one songs, including the famous, 'God Bless the USA, 'It Turns me Inside Out,' 'Ring on Her Finger Time on Her Hands,” 'She's Lyin',' and 'Dixie Road,' and more!  And this living legend will have you singing and dancing right along!  Don't miss your opportunity to see this fabulous performance, live and in concert in Branson, Missouri!  The theatre is handicap accessible and has comfortable seating, and non-flash photography is welcome.
