This is a self-guided rental.
- What age is Slingshot Rentals of San Antonio appropriate for?
Driver must be 25 years of age or older with a valid driver's license. Passengers must be able to sit safely in the vehicle with both feet flat on the floorboard. Recommended minimum height: 3'7".
- Is photography & video recording allowed?
Yes.
- When should I arrive?
Guests should arrive 30 minutes prior to their reservation time to complete check-in, review safety information, receive route instructions, and ensure an on-time departure.
- Are helmets available?
Yes. Helmets are available for a rental fee.
- What features does the vehicle have?
The Polaris Slingshot is fitted with a GPS system, backup camera, and Bluetooth.
- Does the vehicle have an automatic or manual transmission?
This vehicle is an automatic transmission.
- What is included in the admission price for Slingshot Rentals of San Antonio?
Every rental includes 200 miles per rental day.
- Where can I ride the Slingshot?
Anywhere on paved public roads within your mileage allowance. Off road, beach, and unpaved surfaces are not permitted.
- Is there a security deposit?
Yes. A refundable security deposit of $0 to $500 is authorized on your card at booking, depending on rental duration and vehicle. The full deposit is refunded within 3 to 5 business days after return, provided the vehicle is returned on time, in the same condition, with a full tank of premium gas, and no policy violations occurred.
- Is insurance included with my rental?
Yes. Every Slingshot comes with full-coverage insurance including liability, comprehensive, and collision coverage. Renters are responsible for a damage deductible of up to $750 if the vehicle is damaged during the rental period.
- Do I need a motorcycle license to rent a Slingshot?
No. Texas state law does not require a motorcycle endorsement. All you need is a valid driver's license.
- What is the minimum age to rent?
Drivers must be at least 25 years old. A valid driver's license and a credit or debit card are required at check-in. Each Slingshot seats up to 2 people.
