Helmets are required for all passengers and drivers per Tennessee state law.
- What age is Slingshot Rental 2 Seater appropriate for?
Drivers must be 22 years or older, with a valid driver’s license. Passengers may be any age, but if a child requires a car seat, it must be properly installed and supplied by the renter.
- Are there any specific rules for the rentals?
Yes. Full coverage auto insurance and a major credit card on file are required for all Slingshot rentals. A $150 cleaning fee will apply if the unit is returned excessively dirty. A $50 refueling charge will apply if the unit is not returned with a full tank. If a unit is wrecked, the renter is responsible for damage repair costs and loss-of-use fees. The standard deductible is $2,500, or up to the full value of the unit depending on the extent of the damages. A $400 penalty will apply if there is any indication the unit was taken off-road.
