My husband enjoyed this the most they had ton of plaques that gave u so much information about criminals. The museum had a very nice area about 9/11.

We spent 3 hours and could have stayed another 2. Very good exhibits, tasteful and informative. Good for all ages as well.
Tip: Take photos! The setups are great and so is the one you purchase from the professionals.

Great attraction for the crime lover! Very interactive and informative. Lots of reading throughout the self-tour. Would not recommend it for children under 12—lots of content and artifacts that are not age-appropriate in certain rooms. Give yourself about 2 hours to explore the whole museum as there is so much to see and do.

"We had a wonderful time."
We had a wonderful time. People were very friendly and accommodating. The biggest problem we had was parking, and since my wife and i are handicapped, it was a very difficult walk from the island to alcatraz east and back. Also, there was no handicapped parking available.

We were so glad that we decided to delay our trip so we could see this place. We thought it would only take about an hour but we were there for three hours as there is so much to see. They were featuring ted bundy that week and that was very interesting.

The alcatraz crime & police museum was great! My husband is a retired police officer and we were truly surprised by the amount of knowledge that was presented by the museum. I would definitely recommend this to all my friends and family.
Tip: Wear comfortable shoes. It took us 2 1/2 hours to go through the museum fully.
