Sawgrass Recreation Park near Fort Lauderdale, FL

Admission to the park includes an airboat ride of the Everglades. Riders will see gators and other animals and birds that make this region their home as well as the regional plant life. Daytime rides last roughly 30 minutes and the nighttime rides last about 60 minutes. There are daytime and nighttime tours. Private charters are available.

After spending time seeing the wildlife that lives in the water, visit the reptile and exotic wildlife exhibits. Visitors can also hold a baby gator, so make sure to bring the camera. Overnight camping as well as parties and other events can be hosted on the grounds. There is also an on site restaurant, as well as a baby changing station and a boat dock available. Bicycling and backpacking are also allowed.
