At Shepherd of the Hills, you will find Inspiration Tower, which is one of our country's great observation decks, and it features views of the nearby Ozark Mountains that may soon have you pursuing ventures you previously only imagined. The spectacular panoramic views from Inspiration Tower are unarguably the best in the Ozarks, so be sure to bring your camera to capture these images forever. It was constructed in 1989 to celebrate the centennial anniversary of Shepherd of the Hills author Harold Bell Wright's first visit to the Ozarks.
