"ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!"

This is the second time we took the lunch cruise, absolutely amazing!! The captain and crew were very nice and accommodating. The shuttle from our hotel was great, dan gave us tahoe facts as we drove. The food, we had pasta, salad, bread, warm chocolate chip cookies, so good. And the view is stunning! We definitely will be back on the blue wave!!!!

Phenomenal! Beautiful! Time stood still! Fascination was all around us. The captain ????? Is very personable with everyone. Crew is fun, hi five with everyone as they boarded with a big smile and hello. The food, great, just what we expected and more. Thank you for a great time.

Tip: Plan for heavy traffic in tahoe around south shores. Arrive early and walk around and enjoy looking at all the beauty of the lake.

My family loved this cruise around the lake aboard this beautiful boat... It was comfortable, restrooms were clean and always available, the seating was luxurious and abundant and you had the freedom to explore -my 6yo boys loved finding all the nooks and crannies. The food was wonderful and available the whole cruise, the captain and crew were highly informed and gave an interesting talk of the statistics and history of the lake, the boat and emerald bay, the island and the inhabitants of the region. Safety was paramount for these friendly informative professionals.

Tip: Bring a camera, appropriate gear for the weather and an appetite for the food and adventure.

If you’ve never been to lake tahoe before, or want to simply try something new, this cruise is the perfect way to become introduced to the blue beauty of the lake. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Immediately upon boarding the ship, you are greeted with a smile and given a free beverage. Outstanding! I was visiting, my two friends have been living there but had not taken a lake cruise. We all had a great time staff and captain agustin were amazing. The captain was so knowledgeable of the area and shared the info. His narration was smooth, not intrusive on the beauty, and he gave us time for occasional peaceful serenity. We all had fun,great music, plenty of move-around space. The bar was well-stocked, including hot chocolate/coffee.

Exciting trip! Our first time at s. Tahoe and first cruise trip. It was fun and exciting but it was cold. We stayed inside the cabin since i cannot tolerate the cold. Make sure you bring layers! Storytelling of the area is great. Audio is clear! Crew is very exciting hip and made things exciting and made everybody welcome. One thing that’s weird is that, sometimes crew allowed their friends to take over the wheel. Well, i do remember the captain saying he is the only one allowed and qualified to handle the wheel. So that’s weird. Using feet to steer Too was… well, it was what is was…but it was a great experience! We saw the eagle, a live bear ? Too!

Tip: If you like an outside view, be sure to arrive early enough to get in line and go straight to the upper deck before it fills up.

The sunset cruise on the bleu wave was wonderful for several reasons. First was the beauty of the scenery that we saw unfold before us, both overall and up close. Entering emerald bay was beautiful in wide-angle but going up close to the island and the mansion brought out details not seem from far away. Second was the boat and crew. They were both professional and personally friendly. Captain jeff checked tomorrow's weather for me when i mentioned that i hoped to go kayaking the next day. His 1st mate mentioned good kayaking spots. Third was the food and service. The 1st mate took my drink preference and then brought it out to me on the fore deck with a smile. We didn't get a spectacular sunset, no fault of the crew, but i still have many good memories from the trip!

Tip: If you get chilly as the sun goes down make sure and bring a jacket if you want to be out on the bow.

We enjoyed our trip on the bleu wave. The boat staff was polite, helpful and friendly, the meal was good and the drinks were cold. And it helped that the weather was nice. I have two complaints (suggestions?). The email confirmation should have directions to get to the dock. Gps took us to an area nearby, but in a residential area. A simple sign at the entrance to the marina would have been a huge help. The other was that there was no organization at the dockside check-in. The lady checking us in didn't know if we were registered or not. No true check-in booth. Just seemed odd. It all worked out, and i only downgraded my rating one star because of it, but they need to improve in both of these areas. The main reason we were there, however, was the boat ride and it was great. Very enjoyable. I recommend it.

Tip: Go to the marina when your gps takes you to the general area. Also, it's probably a 150 yard walk on the dock to get to the boat. They will provide a wheelchair if needed. One lady on our cruise took advantage of that service.

We were a group of seven and we were going to book the large cruise paddle- wheel type cruise, when the concierge recommended this instead. We were not disappointed. The crew was very friendly. I have some mobility limitations. Boat was easy to board and it was easy to move about. Multi-level decks gave amazing views. Cruise was beautiful. Lunch was delicious with sandwich fixin's, veggie tray, cheese tray and cookies, and included 2 free beverages. I was picked up at my hotel before and after the cruise, no extra charge. The crew were very friendly and interesting, and shared a lot of information. One of the best cruises i have been on. Highly recommend!!
