Jetski

Jetski is a type of watercraft composed of a telescoping frame with an attached, roughly V-shaped wing. The frame is usually made of aluminum tubing, while the wings are typically made from items such as plastic or fiberglass. Its most basic form resembles an aircraft propeller or wind turbine. Jetskis are propelled through rider effort, water jet, and aerodynamic lift. The term "Jet Ski" is a trademark of Kawasaki Heavy Industries and has been extended to refer to the vehicle category used. The term "ski boat" is also used in some areas.
1. Wow it works
According to the International Standard Organization (ISO), the term "jet ski" is defined as: 'An engine-powered watercraft resembling a powered watercraft and providing propulsion using a screw propeller in the front, with two outboard rudders and a seat for one occupant behind the center of thrust'The derivative related classification is a motor driven craft propelled by an engine, having two outboard rudders and a hub for one person behind an aerodynamic body and using slicing or impeller action.
2. History
The Kawasaki jet ski introduced Jet skis to the United States in the early 1970s. The first jet ski was designed and built by the New Zealand company Jensen Maritime, in conjunction with Kawasaki Heavy Industries of Japan, a single-passenger craft sold as a marine vessel called Seagull. In 1972, Bill Gross, an American inventor from Sun Valley, California, developed and patented an improved version of this original craft called an "aqua jet."
A jet ski is a recumbent watercraft powered by an outboard engine that propels the craft using a propeller or other propeller. The jet ski engine is mounted to the rear or on the left side, depending on which side is facing forward when riding.
