The Golden Horseshoe Golf Club is comprised of two 18-hole courses and one nine-hole course, offering a variety for players of all skill levels.
The Gold Course is an 18 hole, par 71 course was opened in 1963. Marked by sand traps and a few water hazzards, the Gold Course will offer a challenge without becoming too daunting. The Green Course is an 18 hole, par 72 course. This course was built in 1991, and most agree that it is the easier of the two 18 hole courses. There are a few sandtraps scattered through most holes, with water hazzards only coming into play on four of the holes.
The nine hole Spotswood course has a par 31, and can be played as a front nine and back nine. Those looking for a quick game of variety will definitely like Spotswood. It consists of one par five, two par fours and six par threes. Whether you're looking to squeeze a quick round of nine into your day or are wanting to test out every course offered, the Golden Horseshoe Golf Club will certainly provide you with a great time of golf while in the Williamsburg area.
